Robbie Farah..Discussion Thread.....

If we create some cap space for next year then we can front load his contact and rub it out in one year.or at least some of it.

This forum is more divided over Farah than any of our players and is a perfect example of what he is probably more well known for than any player in memory, being divisive.

What a load of Garbage!
Although the club is going to be divided in the future , even more than it is now over Taylor's effect on it. If he isn't kicked by the middlle of the year next year , we will be in more trouble than we are now but I don't expect this board to even see it coming
There is not another club that will touch Taylorb after this year , unless there is a miraculous inprovement in his running of a team,
He's got the future of an ice block in an oven.

Actually it's Phil Moss Director of Football Operations and Acting CEO to liaise with the Board on football related maters…the same guy who was at the Pamfers when Lewis Jennings and Gorden were moved on by them...but carry on...

thats correct.
However, Phil is briefed by Taylor.
his communication forward is based on his communication with the coach.

Two way street Moss was briefed with fixing the salary cap on his appointment…

I repeat,
if Farah stays , how is this affecting the Cap in the slightest. Even if he goes , because of the great timing by our astute board, we still will be up for the majority of his contract.
They can't con us with that one. It doesn't make the slightest sense.

Based on the way they they think; Blair's payment to the Broncos $250k + stops so instead of using that to build the clubs playing roster we will use it to weaken the clubs playing roster and increase our payments to non playing players by more than 50%
A sterling idea by the club.

Well depending on whom you believe, according to the club you can blame Robbies agent for the timing.
Maybe because there is no other NRL club interested atm, Ayoub felt the need to call try and pressure the club….but Oh that right Ayoubs on Robbies side, of course

Only thing I do believe is that, if wests tigers don't get their on field performances correct in next two weeks, and win at least one game, then t**he dreaded wooden spoon will be heading wests-tigers way.**

Wouldn't surprise me it the whole team lifts for Robbie and wins the last two, then watch the scarecrow rush to take the credit. Hope they really go for it.

Your assuming the players are behind Robbie. Dont under estimate their role in this decision!

Plenty getting stuck into Taylor in the same manner with the same knowledge.

.

there has been enough reasons given on the field with his coaching, or non coaching and decisions about players , positions for many of us , to want to see the back of him
And enough off the field with his excuses to fit any debacle or failure on the field . his drivel answers have worn thin with the media as well as supporters.
And his coaching started to be questioned by commentators who had given him a good run To begin with, and his attempts to push anything failure he can on to other people is just another reason to get rid of him before he does more damage to the club.

But the captain has been going great guns has he? Blind fool.

Huh…I just stated his role....there are more players in this soap opera than just Taylor and Farah....

The outcome is wait and see...

Well Moses has already complained to Taylor about how he was playing him. woodseyndidn't seem to happy about it in his interview on Thursday. Certainly didn't give taylor or the board any wraps . There's no way they'd want to get Robbie out. It would mean they would have to start tackling

I find it funny how five weeks ago, every supporter on here was bagging Taylor for the excellent play strategy of taking the ball one out for 5 tackles, then a midfield bomb.
And then u turn on farah and co for speaking up… ..

I agree with this

This is quite ironic.

There were plenty of leaks going on before JT arrived at this club….I rest my case :sign:

So that means that it's impossible for taylornand the board cannot possibly leak,
A lovely simplistic view.

Pardon, my good man ? :sign:

Robbie Farah, is both a Wests Magpies and a Balmain Tigers Junior. He has played 236 games for the Wests Tigers. A record. He was named in the best West Tigers team of the first 15 years. He played a pivotal role in our only premiership. He I a life member. He has played for Australia and is the current SOO hooker. He is the club Captain.
This year his form has been average, however that could be from injury and a different playing style implemented by the coach.
Over the last two seasons he has been involved in some controversy, and I suppose none of us real know the truth or exact detail.
However he has been the most influential player in the clubs short history and our 1st one club player.
He doesn't deserve to be treated like this, whatever the clubs direction. He has two maybe one year left.
The timing and handling of this by the coach and management is terrible!

Nice wrap for the club, bet they love that
Interesting about Taupau, may be missing from our lineup next year, is anyone going to be left
Is Taylor eligible to play????

Haven't you heard. Taylor is going to be the next best thing in coaching. :roll

Farah was advertising the game on Sunday via radio advertising this morning. I found this unusual for the reason he hasn't bought into Taylor's "vision" and is not on board the yellow submarine.

Haters u are!!!
Should be ashamed of yourselfs, disgusting.
U pick potter the half wit over farah!
The guy won us a premiership! What did potter really do for the weststigers to deserve this unbridled loyalty???????
I think generally its whats wrong with the club, yes its people like you!!!! Haters
Another word I have for u farah haters, pathetic
Again, apparently farah and brooks, Moses went to the coach a few weeks ago because they wanted to play more expansive play, should have taken farah out the back and shot him then.
