My mail is Farah has been the model professional at the club this year and captained the side to the best of his ability in a leadership. Training really hard and handing the keys over to the young as under Taylor's great game plans. The only real fall out was Taylor childishly threatening to put him in reserve grade and in the part time squad if he remained at the club.

Look he appears well past his best, and I think it would be good for him to find another club and get away from our mess. Meanwhile Taylor has to win over the rest of the squad for next year, something he is clearly struggling with. I even saw Bellemy taking a shot at him in the media, does anyone really respect JT?

You gain Respect by Giving it….

SMH said on Sunday, quoted in this thread somewhere, that Farah is a very professional footballer but he doesn't react well to adversity. Differentiating between how Farah applies himself to preparing for football versus how his personality and leadership impacts on the team.

Then the decision is whether he should still be captain? If Taylor had a brain he would strip the captaincy Farah would be that offended he would likely leave. Instead this dim witted organisation has just cornered themselves into a situation they either fire the coach or pay a player $1m to play at another club.

I seem to remember that Farah signed his signed his contract a few years ago on condition that he would be Wests Tigers captain.

Can someone address the Origin issue? Has there been any indication that he isn't more concerned about staying in the NRL to play Origin than help re-build our club?

Maybe some one will address it when you tell us where you heard Robbie actually say that he is more concerned about staying in the NRL to play origin than help rebuild our club. Until then it all just sounds like another angle to create another reason to have a crack at him. Call me a loyalist all day long- I have been called worse.

Top post Telltails.
GNR how about after game 2 this year he backs up for us with a crook shoulder and busts his hand ruling him out of game 3? Gallen doesn't backup if he grazes his knee during origin.
What about today when he claimed that getting off the bottom was the focus rather than farewells to Gal and Pat and possibly including his own and Rowdy's as well? He played that game today not as an up yours to Taylor but as an effort to ensure we don't get the spoon.
Now you prove your opinion correct if you can.

Yep … I was doing the Robbie chant heart, mind and soul. I don't want to see him go.

I never experienced anything like it, knuckles. The love and respect shown to Robbie at the game was incredible. :stuck_out_tongue:
By teammates and fans alike. But not just WT fans. What amazed me was that the Warriors fans near us also cheered for Robbie and stayed after the game and applauded him as he was doing the lap of honour.
Now that's RESPECT for the man!

I'm anxious about today's game as a result of all this. I can't see how this could possibly galvanize the team.
If the Warriors brought their footy boots we'll be collecting the spoon today at home.

Few bob each way

The Robbie at all cost brigade would of been a bit disappointed if the Warriors actual NRL side played today not the basically reserve grade side but let this not cloud the real issue !
There obviously is huge problems in the player group flash back yesterday the team was last outright,Taylor's coaching has been average for the most part ,and I struggle to see him as coach for the full season next year …but galvanising the team is a stretch these energy driven emotional performances only last for a short period then straight back to bad habits .live with it the right move has been made moving forward but the puzzle is still not over one piece still left to solve.

Our team playing like they did on Sunday would've beaten any team in the comp. :supporter:

Are you getting your food delivered gold coast? Seems like you been in this thread for about 72 hours straight… Have a shower and go to bed... You'll feel better believe me

Just the advantage in being on call for the last 24 hours Ink, and not having anything to do.
Had the best time reading some of these fantasies a lot of laughs as the latest news has started to filter through,

Hope you're helping your better half with the chores around the house GCT as well as posting..

I wouldn't dream of doing anything else Mama, I'm the perfect SNAG , but if I'm on call I'm allowed a leave pass.( doesn't happen often)
I only have to plead for leniency for a little while .
But God help me if I try to push my luck.

Lol.. As it should be GCT!

Brisbane captain Corey Parker has backed Wests Tigers over their decision to axe Robbie Farah, declaring ‘it’s a business’ and fans better get used to it.

Interesting. That's an Australian test team mate.

Now that is a surprise !

All this sympathy towards Farah being shown the door has me wondering how much of this is his fault?

1) The decision to allow Farah to find another club was made 7 weeks ago. The club and Ayoub agreed to keep it in-house and not advise Farah to allow Ayoub to find another club for him.

2) All was going to plan until last Tuesday ,,,,
\
\
3) Farah was told by the club last Tuesday

4) Someone leaked it to the press that Farah was going to allowed to be shopped around… so the club got on the front foot and released a statement BEFORE the press news went to air.

5) The biggest issue to come out of the news last Tuesday was the fact Farah was told he would be playing reserve grade next year and not be training with the FT squad....this was made public by Farah in his statement.
\
\
The proverbial hit the fan last Tuesday...how much was Robbie behind leaking this to the press?

Why did Farah chose to make public the conversation that was had in-house?..it was WRONG what he did.

Notice how many times JT was pushed to reveal in-house discussions yet he refused!

Bet your bottom dollar it was Farah who leaked to the press the fact he is being allowed to find another club..

Over the last few years one of the biggest issues in the WT has been information being leaked to the press by an insider....could it be that Farah can't shut his mouth when it comes to keeping what's said in-house stays in-house?

Thanks for everything you have done over the last 12 years Robbie....but I cant wait for the club to usher in the new player era in 2016...

No need to fear other people's opinion. Besides, one more negative post about Farah and I'm told the RLPA will close the site.

Wow talk about taking it personally.

Get some fresh air mate, a life even :unamused:

And for the record go and have a look in the coach and board thread, see if you can find me in there jumping over everyones opinion. I see it differently to them, very differently but i respect their right to have a say without turning the thread into a collective of personal attacks. You should try it some time.
