One minute he wants to take the captaincy off Farah , next minute he wants to sign him to the Knights

One minute he doesn't rate the guy , next he does

But that's OK , because if it had been Taylor he would of been crucified

Wow …even for you that's clutching at straws...did you see Brown on 360...he talked Farah up as a PLAYER..worked with him in Origin....just because he might of felt he wasn't a good captain which plenty on here agree.... doesn't mean he doesn't rate the guy...

I love how people use the term pay cut… When in reality it's probably more apt to say they loaned the club some money for a few years.
He'll be paid in full

that's a terrible example.

he could've used the 400K and invested it in his restaurant, property, given to his family etc. he didn't have to loan it to the WT. however, he CHOSE to invest it in the WT hoping he could stay a one club man and possibly win a premiership here.

agree with the first sentence though- it's definitely not a pay cut and he'll be paid in full regardless of what happens.

So you think he ''took a paycut''…or ''offered a loan'' to the club, so he could remain a one club player?
Not to help the club out of the salary cap mess it was in at the time thats been widely reported just about everywhere?
Rightio then

i didn't say that.. in fact i said the exact opposite.

Well… It's right there... I can see it... Are you delusional or in denial?

Agree Geo that's my take as well.

What happens if Farah leaves and when round 13 comes around next season, Taylor's kpis kick in and he is moved on due to non performance, does the club win or lose.
You can't tell me that moving on a player who has been playing to coaches instructions at the detriment of his own game, will turn the teams performance around.Spending 1 million out of our 2016 and 2017 cap on an absent player means no new signings, worsening performances. There were rumours earlier this season that Moses wanted out due to Taylorball,Tapau has expressed interest in NFL, it will be one way traffic outta the place

Yes and it wont be just the players, a lot of fans are close to the edge as well. Most are waiting to see how this plays out but if it plays out how it looks like it will play out many will walk.

Nathan Brown is a smart guy, he knows a football team with Farah in it needs Farah playing at his best. I doubt its got anything to do with being a good captain, more just a smart coach realising that taking the captaincy off Farah and removing that weight off his shoulders would benefit the team.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, instead of that sort of coaching we got a guy who instructs our best player to dumb down his game.He then moves him on when he complains.

All the best to Brown and Farah at Newcastle if it happens.

I wouldnt be surprised if the board see moving Robbie on as part of life moving forward after Taylor if he cant get the results required.

Maybe they feel far more resumes will come in with no Farah?

I think they are throwing the baby out with the bath water, many excuses have been made this season blaming lack of experience in team, next year we are already without Galloway, Richards, probably Halatau, Probably Farah, probably Ava, if Taylor thinks results are going to improve enough to save his job he is delusional

I'm sure he doesn't. But clearing the decks to be competitive in the player market going into 2017 can help him improve his standing. Everyone is saying next yr is his make or break yr, but it isn't. It's 2017 once he has the team with the additions he wants.

Sounds like you are unaware that JT is contracted for 2017\. If you are, I'm not too sure what point you're making.

There is a poster who comes on here now and again,he apparently has "inside knowledge"his name escapes me however , he said Taylor has KPIs in his contract which kick in in round 13 ,2016,failing a miracle and SBW and Sam Burgess and Michael Jennings coming here, he will not make them

What are the KPI's?

How do people know that he will not make them if they do not know what they are? Duh.
