Why cant dave smith use use his power and just fix this problem. We never get any help or the rub of the green. He should step in as robbie should be a wests tiger for life. Great for the game, kids who follow and the club

Nurses do rock and welcome to the forum, but what do you expect the CEO of the league to do?

Agree Balmain Boy, Souths were cellar dwellers for years before JT came along. Read up in Wikipedia that Souths under JT were coming home strong at back end of third year thrashing the premiers (St George). As previously said we were one golden point from 11th. this year.

What a load of dribble, we were also one golden point off stone cold last as well! Rubbish point.
If we kept playing Taylorball we would if been last by a long way(I.e if the players hasn't asked to play their style of footy).

Its ironic that you belittle and call peoples posts dribble when you haven't replied to 2 statements you made in the Ava thread that have been proven false.

As I stated in my other post, 11th is no more acceptable than 15th. The coach must be held to account and sacked.

The question is when ? They gave him a 3 year contract. I don't think you can just sack coaches or players when we give them longer term contracts.

I can also understand a poor performance from the team if the coaching was up to standard in the form of decent game plans and picking the right team. JT picked the right team I think pretty well. He has also recruited well this year for next season. His game plans though were terrible and I think the team performed far below the level that they could have.

It was a terrible coaching performance but I don't think we should sack him now. Lets see how he goes over the next 2 years. If we get the JT spin and dumb game plans next year then maybe he has to go prior to his 3rd year but lets hope that doesn't happen again.

Just listening to the Big sports Breakfast segment with Paul Kent about tigers on/around 14 min mark.

No takers for Robbie and he reckons we are three years away from being in the Top 8

Robbie Farah set to report for Wests Tigers pre-season training as he prepares to dig in his heels

October 2, 2015

THE next time Robbie Farah greets his Wests Tigers teammates will be day one of pre-season training.

The Tigers on Friday held their grand final luncheon with superstar fullback James Tedesco crowned Players’ Player by his teammates and the members.

But the real talking point was the future of Farah, and whether the inspirational skipper will return to see out the final two years of his deal.

The Saturday Telegraph understands Farah plans to report for the start of pre-season training when the Tigers resume on November 2.

It’s been nearly six weeks since Farah was told by the Tigers he was free to look elsewhere, with the club even prepared to pick up a large chunk of his $1.9 million tab.

The threat of playing in the NSW Cup if he chooses to hang around remains genuine.

But Farah is prepared to dig in his heels. He wants to be a one-club player.

The relationship with coach Jason Taylor continues to be strained, with the pair barely acknowledging each other on Friday.

Farah was accompanied by his manager Sam Ayoub, who has on several occasions publicly criticised the Tigers for their treatment of his representative client.

Asked if Farah would run out for round one for the Tigers if he couldn’t find a new club, new Tigers’ CEO Justin Pascoe told The Saturday Telegraph: “He’ll have the opportunity to prove to the coach, and the coach has that right to make a decision (on availability), not only with him, but with every single player.

“We’re honouring all obligations to the contract.

“We gave him an opportunity to look elsewhere. It’s as simple as that.’’

Tedesco expected Farah to resume training next month, and hoped he remained at the Tigers.

“If another club doesn’t chase him up, I expect him to be there the first day,’’ Tedesco said.

“Robbie has been a great mentor to me. He’s been here since I’ve been here, he’s a legend of the club and if he gets an offer, good luck to him, but I’d be happy to see him stay with us.’’

Tedesco and bearded prop Aaron Woods were two blokes who really aimed up for the Tigers this season.

Playing every minute of every game this season, Tedesco revealed he had stem cells injected into his knee a fortnight ago.

“I had a needle put into my stomach, they took some fat out and mixed it with some blood from my arm, and they put it in my knee. There’s not much cartilage or meniscus down there, so it was for a bit of protection,’’ said Tedesco, who will push for NSW honours should he start 2016 the way he finished this year.

How can you blame the coach when we led dogs 24-6 and lost, raiders 18-0 and lost then were unlucky against dragons in rd 26\. Win these 3 and we finish in the 8\. Ridiculous to say the coach is shite. Give the guy an opportunity sheens had 4 years before he did anything

Blah, blah, blah..
Settle down key board warrior, I know u r trolling every post on here but I have a life!
Mate at the end of the day I support the club and a man who has given his all for the club!
I might not agree with everything he has done but overall he has still only wanted the best for the club!!
And just because a blowin like Taylor says he wants him out I don't have to agree or stab him in the back like u lot are doing, your an absolute disgrace and I would prefer u guys just went and supported another backstabbing club like the scoffs or the dogs.
Without farah we would never have won the 2005 premiership and I am forever grateful for that, remember para, sharks, titans, cowgirls, haven't won a premiership for over twenty years if ever!
Do u actually go to games or just stab from your keyboard???

My garbage meter just broke Lathami

Seriously

This is about the 10th time in a month i've seen you write this. Seems like its your go to response when you don't have anything constructive to say.

Congratulations, we all have lives. Not sure how i'm being a keyboard warrior or a troll. If anyone is the keyboard warrior here, its you. You seem to get a kick out of being condescending to people who have different opinions to yours. I think you need to look up the definitions of these terms and learn what they actually mean.

That ''blowin'' is our coach. And as a coach, its his right to do with his team what he sees fit. You seem to have major issues with it and seem to be going really overboard. Yet you're not a ''keyboard warrior'' or a ''hater'' are you? You seem to think you have more of a sense of entitlement about being a ''hater'' than the people you're abusing for not agreeing with you.

There was only one player we wouldn't have won the comp without and it wasn't Farah. It was Prince. Farah was an important cog, but he wasn't irreplaceable that yr.

I'll go out on a limb and say you aren't rational enough to see the irony in this sentence.

Though i disagree with the people supporting Farah, i can at least see where they are coming from with 90% of what they say. 10% of immature personal digs on JT aside. But overall, i can see where they are coming from.

Except for lathami. The dude is openly hostile in every single post, attacking anyone who disagrees with him, calling them trolls, haters, keyboard warriors etc. Somehow not realizing this is how he comes across.

Well here's the deal, if this thread degenerates any further, and there are any further unnecessary outbursts, I'll press a button and that will be the end of it for the offending member.

Just noticed Farah no longer on the start up page of the Wests Tigers app looks like he might be gone…

The only solution to this whole saga is to pay his final 2 years of his Contract and that will be the end to this discussion.

We are a Month from Preseason training already 😱pen_mouth: and we need a solution quick smart .
From reports of the Grand Final Luncheon the feud continues and expected it to anyway .
