If we need to let history go, I say let JT go.

When he's in the middle of a job? If you hire someone to renovate your bathroom and they start by tearing it down, do you tell them to get out of your house?

Farah was hired for 4 years last contract, he is in the middle of that contract, same thing, so why is ok for some but not others.

Sort of like being told if you intend to see out the remaining 2 years of your contract you'll play NSW Cup.

The coach…. You know, the one who chooses the team... said he'd be considered for round one.... Selective quoting

The person who made the Reggie's comment has been sacked!

Your agenda is pathetic

Come on Ink, I gave you more credit, a contract is a contract is a contract. Check the timeline. JT performed the reverse pike backflip with a twist from the 3 metre high board before saying that. The threat was made well before then.

Absolutely low of Farah if he's dragging Moses and Brooks into it.

What if , perish the thought Moses and Brooks don't like JT either and actually like and respect Robbie. 😱pen_mouth:

I can ask the same question in reverse. Why is it okay to move on an under performing coach, but not an under performing captain? A captain who is seemingly trying to drag as many people into this as he can (Moses, Brooks). If so, its a dog act that he's desperate enough to try and detestable the club even further. Its a cancerous act by a coward who can't fight his own battle on his own.

If you bothered to read my posts you would know I have stated plenty of times, for the good of the club both Farah and Taylor should go.

That's fine, let them deal with their own situations individually. Trying to get players to gang up on him isn't doing to the club any favours.

Its politics dude. JT said he will be considered for round 1 so Tigers won't get in trouble from players union. They have Ballin now so JT can pretend it's performance reasons why Robbie gets shafted.

As much as Ben Elias is a tool…there is obviously some concern from Brooks and Moses as Elias quoted that the kids have a concern of the direction the Club is going .
It was said in the article that Newtown put up on this Thread late last night that the reason why Brooks and Moses asked for an extension was to see who was going to be the Coach from June onwards next year ? Not sure if there is something they might know in regards with what JT needs to do to keep his job past June ( result wise ) , not sure ? There was also concern from our halves midway through the 2015 Season that they were not playing there natural games and towards the back end of the year you could see they were given a bit of leeway and shined on a few games.

Farah needing to go at all cost for the the Club is a big load of whatever , some where saying that the reason there wasn't a Club after him was because the problem he is.....that other Clubs know about hence why no one is wanting him but that could be far from the truth , i know for a fact Dragons have a deal in place and his been at Dragons head quarters 3 times the past Month.
Farah has a right if he feels that he wants to fight for his Position and maybe that's was his hearts desire , but maybe the Ballin signing was the final straw for him.
Ayoub might be a dodgy bloke but he is acting in the best interest of his client .

What i find baffling is that the Roosters are now the front runners for his services and JT was Trent Robinson's Assistant Coach , so to me for Trent Robinson wanting Farah says more about JT's game plan on not using Robbie effectively , why would Trent Robinson want him when you have Jake Friend?
I think JT realizes the massive commotion he has caused to our Club by playing the big Boss and if anything has put further pressure on himself than anything else .
JT is now praising Robbie's attitude at training and is pretty much saying he will be there come Round 1....now we have this new 4 year deal crap to Robbie .

Release Robbie , that's what he was asked to do and has now done so....lets move on and see if JT can steer the ship and turn this Club around .

Its a good point here. I honestly feel we are better off without Robbie based on how much we are paying him however this isn't going well and we would have been better off getting the most out of him until his contract runs out.

Saying that Robbie "dragged" Moses and Brooks into the situation is probably overstating Robbies influence and undersestimating Brooks and Moses commercial savvy.

I think they're very much aware that if he stays (or gets paid his dues) their $600k payday is very much at risk. Hence why they have opted for the wait and see approach.

Agreed that they are both probably supportive of Robbie from a personal point of view but their motivations for wanting to see how this plays are out are more than likely dollar driven.

Robbie getting pushed is not so much about the man (although I agree he can prickly at times and am happy about the captaincy decision), it is about dollars.

Our cap has been managed woefully. JT inherited this and is trying to manage it. He sees Brooks and Moses as the future but won't be able to keep them unless he gets cap space.

I've lost track now, is this where we are at? Have I missed anything?

**Breakdown of my understanding so far:**
- Taylor told Farah he is no longer wanted and allowed to explore his options
- Farah dug his heels in and said he wishes to stay
- Taylor/Reddy told Farah if he does that he will be playing reserve grade
- Pascoe joined the club and attempted to resolve the Farah/Taylor situation
- Farah relinquishes the captaincy
- Taylor says Farah will still be at the club next year and will be considered for selection in first grade.
- Farah requests release from Wests Tigers
- Wests Tigers deny Farah a release
- Wests Tigers offer Farah a new 4 year deal

Come on!!!!!this is Wests Tigers.
Don't tell me that you are expecting anything sensible to come out of this Board or "coach".
This is the same lot that some are going into raptures about. Trumpeting their new found "professionalism .
A board including the Chairperson with NO knowledge of the game, a CEO on training wheels, and a "coach who arguably would not get a first grade gig with any other club.
In fairness to the CEO, he was dumped with this mess after the rest of the admin had stuffed up the first attempt to shaft Farah.
The worst thing is that the "coach "and Board probably hit rock bottom yet.
There's still time for more stuff ups before 2016
