He also said JT and Robbie loath each other and that they
haven't spoken a word to each other since training started. :blah

Well Hooper certainly is off the mark there. I've seen video of them talking to each other and smiling on the training paddock.

Smiling or smirking?
Just kidding. I agree that Hooper is off the mark.

Our new captain Aaron Woods recently stated that Farah and Taylor are consulting each other and getting on well together. I wonder where this journalist gets all this dramatic nonsense from.

I hate to dredge up the old ''true supporter'' card, but this is such a poor comment that it makes you question why people even support this club.

.

Agree to your sentiments wholeheartedly.

I just wish Farah goes. He doesn't love the club. If he does then he would've told his manager to shut up and keep everything in house. Even if he was treated the way he was, be the better man and take it on the chin and work it out. It can be done behind closed doors.

I hope whatever the outcome is good for the club not just one man.

So he cops heen shafted to a club outside Sydney with no GF chance?? That was expecting too much.
He is happy to go down with ship at WT (no chance of GF) but not for another club - that is understandable.

If he had gone lazy I can understand but he remained active even if slower. The club did not issue him any breaches over Tallis/Potter affair so cannot be held against him like some here do. They should have backed him on their website by publishing his mea culpa. I can't wait to see him back on their site homepage. If the team now comes good all can be forgiven on both sides.

I never mentioned anything about him coping with it "being shafted to a club outside Sydney". I said take it on the chin… let them land the first blow but fight if you must.... "behind closed doors".

Where does he get it from? The WT Forum of course.

Apart from what I heard on the news (I don't read the Daily Telecrap) I am yet to hear any official response from WT. If true though, that Farah's future is secured at the club, then I am pleased and will renew multiple memberships. I will do it even faster if the next step is the announcement of the removal of Taylor from the club. An out-and-out dud if ever there was one.

I hate to dredge up the old ''true supporter'' card, but this is such a poor comment that it makes you question why people even support this club.

I don't agree with this outcome, but it doesn't mean im throwing my membership away. I was always renewing regardless of the outcome. Those holding the club to ransom over this should do everyone a favour and go away.

He propably did cop one on the chin. But that would be his limit. How many would you cop before you start fighting back? Who's to say that Robbie and his management didn't try to be reasonable and work everything out confidentially ?
JT's lack of man-management skills, tried to bully him into leaving, pushed the envelope.
Pascoe comes in and straight away things seem better. It just shows that JT and the board should have handled the whole thing better then they did. Robbie's not at fault here. He's fighting for what's rightly his( financially) and his reputation. As for Robbie not loving the WT? You must be joking.

How many more times do people need to be told that Farah would have never been financially worse off? He had a contract with us and if he moved on he would have been paid out whatever shortfall remained from a new club's offer. Seems to be a regular reason dredged up for Farah digging in the heels. The club owed him the money he was contracted for, they wouldn't have a leg to stand on in court so they'd pay it out which they've reiterated more than once.

The only reason why he dug in is because he doesn't want to go. It was going to be handled away from the media and when Farah wasn't going to be able to negotiate his way into staying, his manager went public. The media crapstorm is a result of a dick move by Farah's management, not the club. The only thing they did wrong was that an employee no longer with the club made an inappropriate comment about playing in reserve grade.

That employee was JT assistant coach. Chosen by him. Says a lot about the people he surrounded himself with doesn't it?
Bottom line is, that the whole thing's been handled badly and it falls on the coach and the board's shoulders. Only thing I've got to say is " Thank God it appears to be over"… Hopefully 😛ray:

 Now he's responsible for what other people say? So if Kidwell tells a Girl Scout or a pensioner to go root herself we should be stringing up JT?

I'm not saying the club are perfect, this move was always going to be risky and cause dramas and due to Farah's fragile ego it backfired in a spectacular manner. The club should never have signed him to a long term deal, hopefully a huge lesson is learned here.

It's far from over Mama, wait for us to fall over the first hurdle, the knives will be out big time in the media for both JT and Farah.

theres no point trying to explain / re explain and then 300+ pages later still try to explain what seems to be common sense to some of these clowns tigmama

some of the people on here claim to be tigers fans from the start of time and have formed their opinions of farah that have clouded their visions basic sense of normality.

how could nearly everyone involved within league - from past players to present players, administers to support staff all be wrong about Taylor BUT the few die hard forums members here can point all their frustrations at farah and dribble out some of the dumbest comments going around in league at the moment.

you dont like farah - fair enough…
but then you turn on the ceo for trying to fix a problem the coach created.
YES thats correct - 300+ pages later - the COACHED CREATED this problem.
not the manager not the player not the team - the coach.

what he earns, the salary cap dramas and everything else some of you keep mentioned.... is actually not his fault or even part of any of this.

the coach made a decision based on what he thought was a way to cement his authority and ego.
he was immature and completely uneducated in his approach - and it backfired.

but its all farahs fault hey.
and pascoe...who does this guy think he is trying fix our club......

Your wasting your time mate Farah is God to many …he should of been sacked last year for the garbage he went on with.
This will never be over until he finally leaves the club ... the first criticism and that will be it. The terrible things Talylor has done and said to poor Robbie

yes mate.
If JT employed kidwell as a member of his staff and JT took kidwell to the girl scout meeting - and kidwell then said the above mentioned - then absolutely JT would be responsible.

what world are you living in mate.

Just think, if Farah and Ayoub hadn't behaved so unprofessionally this all could have gone on behind closed doors…. Only the occasional scripted press release from either party.

This thread would only be 100 pages long in that case.

Yes things weren't always handled as well as could be, but their reaction has turned all this into the media frenzing circus - which won't disappear for at least another 12 months.

I wonder how much Ritchie is paying Robbie for all these exclusives? Seriously, maybe Robbie's had a TPA with NewsCorp all this time, hence to cash in has has to spill the beans, gifting crap journos 'scoops'. And as it's a TPA the club knows nothing about it!

farahs definitely not a god mate.
whats happening is decent people on this forum and in the world outside of this forum are looking at this situation on its own and making a comment that - wow thats a pretty major stuff up from the coach ….... wow.... just wow ! !

so someone breaks into your house - eats your cat.
you shoot him….
but its all your fault -
you should have offered the guy some milk to digest the cat......

yes mate - thats the level of stupidity this is all at.

According to today's Daily Telegraph football "legend" Benny Elias" is now coming in with the cheap shots against Taylor whilst at the same hailing Farah as somewhat of a saint.

If there is a positive out of all of this is that Farah's "God-like" status is diminshed and fans and staff alike can objectively assess some of the deficiences in his game.

Actually, if you recount the clubs dramas over the past few years, the hatchett job on Potter by one Mr Farah was set in motion because of Potters advice that Robbies contract on offer should have only been 2 years…. Now low and behold, after a poor second season, and the full backing of the board, Farah was told he had the option to explore other options. Once again a media poop storm exploded.

Bit difficult to not draw comparisons.

Its not about the club... Its about Robbie.

I'm sure Kidwell wouldn't say such a thing to nice Girl Scouts and the elderly. 😱pen_mouth: But I bet he would to some others that deserve it
All kidding aside CB, I respect what your saying. I would love nothing more, then to see harmony and success at WT. JT and the board had good intentions I'm sure, but it was just handled badly. I'm very aware that this saga is far from over.
Bring on the 2016 season. Can't wait. Dramas and all.
