Frankly speaking Danny cannot be making up these stories, he would have been sacked ages ago, it is not the DT. If Danny is reporting whisperings why isn't Tallis (Potter affair) treated with the same disrespect as Weidler?

Gossip sells papers…He''l keep his job forever...

Just as Tallis's gossip re Farah/Potter keeps him in a job?

At least Danny's questions were first hand, above board in front of camera - whereas Tallis' was a private conversation a year earlier trusted to by a friend. I know which I would prefer.

Yet even when answered directly by the players in question…see Blaze's post..to be not true...In true Danny form he puts his own twist on things...yep that's quality journalism right there....

And somehow everyone always points the finger at Taylor for what happened. It couldn't be that the guy who did it was just a lunatic who had a history of coward punching players in the middle of games.

Yeah that's great, he punched his coach in the face because he likes punching people. Lol

I'm sure it was for no reason

I'm sure he was sacked for no reason as well

Maybe it was a slap or jab by Fa'alogos standards telling JT your behaviour is unacceptable mate uncool.. Maybe? Obviously JT didn't think his actions through prior assuming being an NRL first grade immuned him punishment..

That's the problem with today's society, no respect taught or given.. It's simple keep your mouth shut and do the right thing.

He may have copped a slight knee in the head that he set him off?:

You think Taylor kneed him oh the head?

I was referring to the game video when maybe number 11 jumped in over Anasta and accidentally kneed him in head.

What ever Taylor was supposed to have done was caught on CCTV and judged on it's merits by club big shots?

Yeah, because he had a reason to punch Anasta like that did he. Good one.

**Sun Herald December 6 Danny Weidler
Tiger Troubles**
(I can't find text online)

Danny states Marty was supposedly not happy with Jason's coaching.
Marty did not like gluten free food - don't blame him on that.
That Aaron Woods is not happy but has to put on a face for sake of everything.
blah blah
–----------------------------------------------
and of course we will have the predictable responses in choir

If Danny is right then we are in for real trouble - discuss

Marty doesn't like being coached by Taylor so what does he do - he goes to a club where the coach has even less experience than Taylor - yea right - I think Danny forgot to ask him if the extra money had anything to do with it.

Put simply JT put himself in thst position, why didn't the assistant trainer get knocked out..

No disrespect intended though was it the cups fault when JT threw urine at the cricket?

Everyone makes mistakes, more importantly JT social skills are questionable hence the point, regardless of skills you need to have man management skills as a leader, judging by form JT is lacking these skills thus he is more suited to a back office or lower grade role as against coaching the cream of the crop.

Without naming names I can gaurantee you that certain other senior players aren't on the same page as JT. You can spin it, shape it however one likes, the fact is time will prove this.

Personally I don't hate Taylor, all I know is as per above. All a waste of bits till proven otherwise? Surely?

By all means let him have his 3 years..

It is pretty obvious that not all players are liking or keen on being coached by Taylor, that doesn't mean they support Farah either, but it is clear to me at least Taylor needs to go for the good of the club, and Farah may also need to go as well.
People can bag the telegraph, and SMH journo's as hacks, there are stories from other media outlets as well, they can't all be wrong, it is what Marty didn't say that was more important that what he did say, and if Woods is not happy Taylor should be out the door today.

Didn't Faalogo put Craig Wing out with a hit when he was with the roosters some time back. Wing was out for the rest of the season. And also king hit a taxi driver in the U.S. Faalogo is a real nutter who obviously has brain snaps. I did read that he apologised to JT. I have watched many martial arts groups sparring and with all the ducking and weaving I can see someone like Faalogo who would mistake friendly sparring with something more have a brain snap. JT was the victim! But of course it gives the JT haters some thing else to go off about!!

If Woods is unhappy the Tigers are in real trouble. With Robbie Farah no longer the club's centrepiece he is their heart and soul and he must be on the same page as Taylor.

I completely disagree with the premise of Woods importance to our team. I also have no idea if what he is stating is true. I take these comments with the same grain of salt that I take the comments on this forum with regards to Robbie being the puppet master.

@Russell said:
So Tapau was lying in the first interview saying he went because of the money and that he respected JT.

Now he says it is JT that was the problem and woods is not happy either.

Who is to say he is not lying again. Don't believe a word he says - once a lyer always could be fibbing.

He hasn't said anything - Weidler made the comments.

I'm not a fan of punching on in the game but when Anasta is on the receiving end after the pain he put us through I think its good.
