Fifita and Woods will have to both hit 120m+ and be resolute in defence for NSW to win.

Farah will have to combine with the halves and jennings/wingers to ensure we are always ahead or close to QLD.

Doable but very very hard, worried our go forward and thus finishing power will be lacking without Hayne, Tamou and Gallen.

Last I heard, Tamou was playing

Oh yeah, woods is replacing gallen. I keep forgeting they're playing him at prop.

What a day for Robbie and Woodsy! Very happy for Robbie after all that happened last year! Deserves after all his efforts this year been amazing! Woodsy wants to make up for origin 2 in which qld dominated from the word go! If they start off well look for him to notch up some big minutes and some big metres

Gees, how sweet would it be seeing Farah holding up the trophy on Wednesday night!

Could see a dogs move from I think 2003/04? Steve price was out and he came up and held it with the Stand in, Ryan I believe?

Well done Robbie, best of luck.

Southerntiger that's what you call a leader. We can't all be wrong.

How good is it that that the NSW team finally comprises of Tigers influence…..Farah, Woods and Fifita
I believe they'll get the job done. Gal was becoming a distraction with all the biffo and injuries - It's time we soak up Farah's leadership and focus and get the job done.

Great reward for a guy who's quality has gone through the roof in the past two years. I don't doubt he'll do a good job. I know he'll do a good job. What a story it would be for him if he was to captain them to a win. After all he's gone through. Best of luck to Robbie. Also to Aaron. Glad to see he gets another chance now. I felt game two didn't really present itself the opportunities he'd be hoping for. Hopefully a better chance to show his skills this time.

Yeh top post Pete. After all the crap Robbie endured regarding State of Origin over the past couple of years the captaincy in itself is very sweet. A win.. well that would just be fantastic. And inspirational as Gallen is, we all know that Robbie can be just that. I reckon the Blues are well and truly underdogs for this one with injuries and what not, but if anyone can get them up then this guy can.

Absolutely, Tigerpete! Farah's gone from being considered not tough enough for Origin to NSW captain in the space of about 18 months! It would certainly be icing on the cake if we won and he did indeed lift the series trophy. It would be a better story than Ashton Agar is at the moment, imo

Agree with you about Woods, also. None of the NSW players could do anything about the onslaught from QLD in the first half of Game 2 and unfortunately all Woods got to do in his short stint was tackle! Hopefully, NSW will get a better start this time around and we will all get to see the real Aaron Woods on display

Well done Robbie,
Hope you can bring to home for us.

Other good news
Reynolds out, Cordner in.

egg –--on ------ face!!!!

hahaha brilliant. a player that isnt origin material now the captain of the blues!!! what a feeling it must be for the guy. im certainly stoked for Robbie. a true leader and every tigers fan knows it, now its time for the rest of the NRL to know it.

Nothing would be sweeter than Robbie to lift that trophy come Wednesday night. A remarkable turn of fortunes considered by ALL in the media and ALL outside of the Tigers to be not worthy of a jersey to being the guy in 8 years to bring it home for the Blues. A true fairytale and the start of a new dynasty for NSW with finally a true leader out front.

Woodsy and Farah, play as if your life depends on it and believe in yourself. A positive attitude will win us the game.Remember, you are only as good as you think you are. On that night, you are the world beaters, the Queenslanders are merely some obstacles put there to stop you. Past reputation means nothing. Cut down their thinking time and let JT have some worries with guys running at him. You can cut off Friday legs, he can't run without them.Tackle them hard so that there will not hold on to the ball and let them feel REAL pain.
