Robbie Farah's close mate advises Wests Tigers star 'you can't go out this way'

Farah should listen to his mate.

For his sake he needs to go and enjoy his football somewhere. Tigers fans that like him won't think any less of him.

Absolutely Eddie

I think the biggest thing within himself is he always said that this is the only NRL Club he would play for and would never play in any other colours.

Benji Marshall said exactly the same thing.

What if Taylor is no longer the Coach…Does Farah come back into favour...?

If he's still here - 100% he'll be back on board
The club will put their tail between their legs and blame the coach
It was all his idea
We had to back him (eventually)
But please fans please know we would never treat a 1 club player, club legend like this
…................

:crazy

I link your thinking Bobo.

One thing I would never slag Farah out for is his work with this charity.

Sounds like they raise good money for great causes.

Farah this, Farah that, Taylor this, Taylor that.

How many threads do we need for God's sake. Give it a rest and concentrate on the team that is winning at the moment, and could get into the semi's.

Enough already!!!

Why would you click on the thread if youve had enough already?

That could be what Robbie is holding out for.

Some saying Taylor is signed for next year, some saying he's not … If Taylor isn't here then Robbie is back in the 17\. Simple as that.

I think his close mates should send him to a psychiatrist. He really has some maturity issues. Maybe the psychiatrist can get Robbie to point out on the doll where the bad man touched him.

Saying crap like that makes you look like the immature nutcase pal.

I'm not picking on matchball however the comments directed at Robbie show how immature some of these guys are. Fabricating rumours, attacks on his character and to top it all off it's completely one sided.

I don't know what you're specifically talking about Steve, you have a tendency to talk in generalities when often nobody is actually doing what you're saying they're doing. What rumours have people been fabricating on here?

Nothing has been one sided on here either, that's part of the problem. It's a constant slanging match with immaturity on both sides…

I don't think that is being honest. All the comments about Robbie being the devil and running the media and running the club. It's all BS. There are no facts. The guys says bugger all and cops it.

Really you don't think I'm being honest? You've just done exactly what you're complaining about.

People draw inferences from circumstances. It's not making things up, it's a process of reasoning that you yourself would engage in every day of your life whether you realise it or not.

Also, screw you for saying I'm not being honest.

As someone who attempts to remain impartial, both sides resort to name-calling and unsubstantiated claims. I don't think anyone thinks Farah "runs the media", but there are some strong indicators he or his manager leaks stories. He certainly propogates that view when he retweets anti-club news stories, makes post match comments criticising our defensive record, etc.

You reckon, far from it for mine, as the coach is three rungs down the heirachy lladder of those that agree with Farah moving on and I see Taylor being here next year anyhow.

If Farah was only planning on playing 2017 & than hanging the boots up, I would say he should hang em up this year. The club should offer him a role such as: club ambassador, youth development, marketing (nothing to do with the first grade side) etc and give him $400k/year over 3 years to make up for his 900k + some light work over the next 3 years.
That way he remains a 1 club player & still have some positive association with the club & fans.

He burnt his bridges already for a future within the club.
He can't be anywhere near the club with his "brand" of culture.

As much as I appreciate the fact that he's involved in community projects, I don't see the need for it to be associated with his being dropped from first grade due to him not doing on the field that which the coach wanted him to do. Once again, he and his mates seem to be peddling the popularity contest argument. In fact, he does deserve to be dropped, and stay dropped in my opinion because I tend to see JTs side of things. And, I think Farah's credibility is severely lacking.

Sad way to go out after a great career but obviously a lot more to it than us Plebs are being told.If Teddy can be believed Robbie stopped him leaving the Club,if Blake Austin can be believed Robbie went out of his way to make him feel unwanted at the Tigers, its all a mess and a great shame.

Farah has to go for the good of the club and the leadership growth of Brooks and Moses along with his legacy.
This is not dependant on JT at all. I really rate Liddle and he may be a better player than Farah in 12-18 months.

I am a Farah fan and would replace JT with Cleary in a heart beat even if we made the finals.
