I'm sure I heard him say 'we put all that to bed last year'. What got put away? There was bad blood? I didn't/don't believe that there is but that comment intrigued me

I took it as "we answered those questions last year" when the media raised them after a few losses.

"What about this rumour about you and Benji having a fallout and are no longer talking?"

"Where'd you hear that?"

Now let me just precursor this by saying I really think all this speculation is nonsense, we've had these same issues for the past 2 seasons and finished top 4, AND just like Robbie laughed, "It's March!"

But The way he answered that question, so defensively. From a body language and a rhetoric point of view, Robbie is pretty much admitting there is a rift and is just poorly deflecting by challenging Johns.

EDIT: Watching the video again, he's wiping his hands alot on his jeans when the Benji issue comes up (sweaty palms are an indication of lying/deception). Conversely, he doesn't give any tells when he answers the question about Sheens and the playing group, so it's clearly he is telling the truth with that issue.

I enjoyed the interview, based on Farah's responses. I was happy that Johns asking the questions, but didn't think it reflected on him well. He kept raising issues which had no solid evidence - rumour is this, people are saying that. Based on that, Johns couldn't do anything except move on when Farah answered, rather than digging deeper into each issue raised.

In regards to the body language, I took it as Farah feeling a bit uncomfortable with the questions. If someone attacks you, you react defensively. He quickly turned that around to give some pretty good answers.

The problem with that question is it is very generalized There is no doubt that Benji and Robbie have had some disagreements about things at some stage Why you may ask ?? They are the play makers and they will have issues about chances and things they saw on the field and what was the better option If you have played the game long enough you will have seen it in the dressing room ,on the training pack ,during a video session etc

Its nothing personal and most understand that But when answering that question subconsciously you know you have had issues That is why you start with the negative body language

I had no problems with any of Johns' questions but the way he handled the Benji-Farah stuff was spineless.

Farah offered him the chance to reveal his sources and he simply quoted "footy circles". What the hell is that? Either reveal your source or STFU.

I don't blame Farah for going off, he must be sick of the same crap coming up every year.

don't see what the drama is.

how were they tough questions?
when the team is struggling, what did farah expect.

Farah answered his questions but Johns was too gutless to say where he got his info when Farah asked him the tough questions.
Maybe he should have shut him up by saying 'we're not as good mates as you were with your teammates sharing the same woman'

Just watched the interview with Farrah. I think he handled himself beautifully. He came across as someone that is a leader and captain of his team. I can't blame him for being p….. off, not so much with Johns more about the same old questions being asked. How many times can Marshall, Farrah and Sheens answer "no". It's the media just wanting to beat up more rubbish stories that have no legs and have been flogged now for the past 2 years. I thought Farrah was excellent and showed that he was prepared to take on idiot so called "experts". farrah looked like he was actually enjoying the exchange. I thought Johns was the only one looking like a dill in that interview. Oh yeah, and of course Geyer. But he always looks that way.

I don't think that Johns had any choice but to ask those questions after his comments on Monday night. He was very critical if the Tigers (and rightly so), and the fact that he and a Tigers player were on together meant that he had to stand by his original comments and ask Robbie some of the hard questions.

Johns has added some spice to what was previously a dull show. I really enjoyed last night, but was very surprised that, given that Anasta and Farah were on together, that a question was not asked about his possible signing.

Could not help but notice how easily he let Ben Ikin paint Michael Searle as a victim without ever questioning what he said

Not sure I like the Johns' persona on this show. But I didn't mind him asking the tough questions. And I thought Robbie handled them quite well, it's a shame he won't be playing this weekend but he'll probably still be fired up for the Broncs!

For those who didn't see it, apparently when they went to a break Robbie said to Johns "So, you never played a bad game?" It was clear Robbie was taken back by the questions but like many have said, what did he expect??

Matt Johns wouldn't know what a good game was

He was carried by his brother throughout his career and that became even more apparent when he switched to the Sharks

So true. He is where he is now by playing along side his brother who helped him to look good.

Good on Robbie, well handled, although I was hoping he would punch Johns in the head!

Lol at poor Bwaith, looked like he wanted the ground to open up and swallow him!

Robbie was given the questions ONE HOUR BEFORE THE SHOW.

If that's an "ambush"…........................................................then we really are soft.

I love Robbie, but this whole "cry me a river" respone today is pretty weak.

Harden up fellas. A few tough questions aren't going to kill anyone.

He called me "soft".........boo hoo.........

From what I heard on the grill team this morning Matty johns spoke to Robbie an hour before it aired and he told Robbie to answer direct and to basically be firm with his response. IMO that's exactly what Robbie did well done mate. I'm sick of league players when answering the tough questions they beat around the bush and use clichés'.

All Robbie needed to do was say "SOFT! Mate, watch us belt the Rabbits this week and watch us win the comp!".

He would have looked like a leader.

Instead…............he goes on twitter and crys a river. "

And now looks like a wimp.

It's dissapointing. Players should stay away from twitter.

about time someone asked tough questions farah has been on this show many times before and got asked dorothy dix questions then farah had a swipe at johns about what people think of him ohh sooky boy robbie got asked hard questions

Watching it back for a third time…...........geez, the questions were not even difficult.

The fact Robbie knew what was going to be asked also...............they are not difficult things to answer strongly.

Jumping on twitter and having a big cry just doesn't look good.

Farah, Sheens and Benji are WAY, WAY, WAY too sensitive to criticism.

Blocker, Tommy, Dallas, Sirro, Junior.....................what happened to the old Tiger and Magpie toughness? :frowning:

The reason why Robbie sent a twitter that he was ambushed, was not because he found the questions Matty asked him on air and prior one hour before offensive, BUT because of the sarcasm that followed eg, Matty 'D….head? Now I know how benji feels etc.' there were a couple of these little taunts at trying to acknowledge his questions have truth behind them. That's what pissed Robbie off.
