not a good start to the offseason but in my eyes he is innocent until proven guilty. I dont believe anything that comes from the telecrap. I hope he is innocent. I think he has alot of potential in the game. We would also need to look for another halfback for depth.

news ltd make their money out of citizens like you.

please explain to me how you came to that conclusion from my above statement.

i think the student of the game needs further study.

Nothing new here, SAME OLD STORY, the tigers build a player to be something special, then let him go.
WHO MAKES THESE DUMMMMMB DECISIONS?

Just a point, why are we removing posts and locking topics regarding a serious police matter such as the betting scandal, yet this topic, just as, if not more serious, is relatively open slather??

It's not open slather at all. No one here is making accusations and if they do, posts will be deleted and action taken.

Could you expand on that a little? I thought Alien's post was reasonable enough.

Yes i will expand.

I think it is highly insensitive to 😛ray: for a player to be proven innocent or let off just because we need him for his footballing ability, because at the end of the day there is a woman involved who has been hurt by Lui's violence.

I think you need to abck off on your judgement. While it may in most circumstances seem logical to accept he wouldn't be charged without reason and you could leap to the conclusion he must be innocent, the recent case with Brett Stewart shows it is not always so. While I would hope Lui is innocent both from the club's and his point of view, I hope he is convicted if it is proven he did what is alleged.

Yeah but what's it got to do with News Ltd in terms of what Alien posted?

Well said Willow! Robbie needs to see our hands not our backs.

We brought him on and he is OUR responsibility! If we want him to help us in the good times then we need to be given the opportunity to help him when times are tough.

Everyone makes a mistake, it is the way you respond to it which shows the measure of the man!

It's automatic in today's society that the lady is always assumed as the innocent party. Which is fair enough, because statistics probably back that up. But I think you just need to look at Brett Stewarts case or the lady demanding millions from the DJ's for an attempted kiss to see that sometimes things aren't what they seem to be.

No one on here would condone violence towards women. It's just plain cowardly and wrong. So this does sound bad, but we can't drop to conclusions with limited information. You never know the whole story with these domestic disputes.

I don't see what the big fuss is about Lui - the footballer. I prefer Moltzen any day of the week. Let's hope his charges aren't as serious as they sound for the sake of everybody - but I'll be definitely smiling when Moltzen has the 7 on his back.

lui is a ball playing halfback as we seen through the finals series (and mind the pun) has a deft touch while moltzen has speed to burn and runs through holes with great support play its a pity we cant combine the two

"The Fuss" has nothing to do with Lui the footballer. Shrugging shoulders and saying "oh well- Moltzen is better anyway" is a similar attitude to what gets guys into trouble in the first place.

Put it this way- if it was Benji that had been charged- is it better or worse?

i think you misunderstood what i was saying. when i said "i hope he is innocent" i didn't just mean that i hope the jury finds him innocent. i meant that i hope he actually is innocent.

Mate we do not know that yet as factual. There are two sides to every story, have you heard Lui's yet?

Yes how true there is His story and there is Her story and the truth will be in the middle somewhere that's how it goes and that is with 30 yrs of marrige expieriance..

you are right snake generally it is middle ground.but to make any assumption on this case is exactly that an assumption whether it be pro lui pro wife or middle ground let the court decide.

I heard today that **it is not North Queensland** that want him.

No doubt WT management will be supporting him 100% through his current situation and you think will fight against any potential requests for a contract release.

The Fonz has put alot of hard work into the kid in the last 24 months. He wont be letting him go.

If he wants to stay out of trouble, the Cowboys is not the place to go given Thurston's recent dramas.

Tigers will not let him go.

Look at the Raiders, they gave into the NRL and public opion and sacked Carney and didnt that come back to bite them. Their is no point in showing him the door only to see another club swoop on him and of course when your down the best place to be is with your mates. He needs to be around strong role models like Farah Marshall Payten and Rhino.

If he felt for family reasons he wanted to head north well than thats a different matter. Anyway lets wait and see what happens in court before jumping to conclusions and lets hope it dose not drag on like Stewart's case.
