Our defence was okay but we couldn't build any pressure with it. A number of times one of our halves would put a good kick in the corner, then Souths would do one wide pass and all of a sudden we were scrambling. Ideally we would limit them to just 40m coming off their own line, but they were easily getting 50-60m. That's where the game was lost.

Think the ref played a part in this. Haven't seen him (Liam Kennedy) before. Ruck speed was pretty quick all game for both teams. Both coaches probably coached a conservative style not knowing how the game would be reffed.

Yeah I thought Brooks was ok.

Talau is too slow at centre. Twice he had space and barely ran at all.

Not a fan of Wakeham. Never runs the ball at all and passes 3 m before the line.

Bula, Nofa, Toa and Tupou I'm good with.

It's mainly the tactics that annoyed me.
The players never had a chance to win if that was what the coaching staff wanted in attack.

We have improved alot for sure but they needed to play some football straight after the break. They waited until the 70th minute. Fair dinkum.

Cannot agree with that, as Souths threw plenty at us all match.

Attack doesn't just depend on the 6 and 7 .The problem is across the board

We didn't look like scoring today. That's a big problem if you don't want the spoon again.

Yeah I think the 1-7 all need to work harder. 11 rounds in and the attack looks like week one when it goes out from API.


With our forward pack I'd offload all the time. With API and Bula their we would be dangerous as.

There is a lot of praise on here for a brave effort by the Tigers and I agree. The defence has come on in leaps and bounds. However, our big problem is our attack. We quite simply can't create or score a try. We might beat a flat Penrith in pouring rain or a mistake riddled St.George but, generally speaking, our offence is non existent. Our approach of simple, low risk football leads to 90% completion and a high possession rate but it doesn't lead to points. It's time to loosen the reins and be more creative but again, I ask the question, is the problem the halves or the coaching? My view is it's both.

This is ridiculous. It's so stupid. Why do you blame one player for us not being able to score ? Have a look at yourself.

The forwards have been good and we lack some class but to blame that solely on Brooks is all time stupid.

but they won playing hit up’s and safety first the last 2 weeks…

Exactly this … he was the link between the dummmy half and the backs on may occasions .. after doing 2 excellent hit ups and a ton of tacking.. with the inept , milquetoast attacking plays the halves put on at the end of sets they should at least be trailing up the middle in support but today they stood back and waited all damn day , offering nothing at all for the defence to worry about .. in a team sport you cannot have no runners and 13 passers looking for someone else to do it .. it really stood out today that as soon as a situation looked promising they all were looking to pass to someone else ..

It's trolling. Play Twal in the halves and see how he goes. He can't kick, he can't pass and he isn't quick.

Won against Panther in the rain. Should of lost last week if Dragons didn't screw it up.

South's are good but that doesn't mean you don't the most you can to win. Good defence and completions should be standard.

If they don't have the talent to do a backline move then why are they in the team?
