Our approach of simple, low risk football leads to 90% completion and a high possession rate but it doesn't lead to points. It's time to loosen the reins and be more creative but again, I ask the question, is the problem the halves or the coaching? My view is it's both.
We have a good team with no halves. That's what's holding us back.Yeah the effort was great.
We are missing a great deal in attack though. If Wakeham isn't going to play direct to the defence then he should be dropped.
He does nothing in attack.
Won against Panther in the rain. Should of lost last week if Dragons didn't screw it up.
South's are good but that doesn't mean you don't the most you can to win. Good defence and completions should be standard.
If they don't have the talent to do a backline move then why are they in the team?

I agree, I have been wanting Wakeham to get a run but he really disappointed me today .. you would think that he would take this opportunity with both hands and show us what he has got .. but he seems to want to just play a structure and let someone else do it all .. sad because he has all the skill amd can can really run when he sets his mind to it .. today he look d like he was not interested and didn’t want to take a hit .. weirdYeah I thought Brooks was ok.
Talau is too slow at centre. Twice he had space and barely ran at all.
Not a fan of Wakeham. Never runs the ball at all and passes 3 m before the line.
Bula, Nofa, Toa and Tupou I'm good with.
It's mainly the tactics that annoyed me.
The players never had a chance to win if that was what the coaching staff wanted in attack.
Shame Staines is out, we may have bagged a try if he was there today.Yeah I thought Brooks was ok.

I don't expect that either but I also haven't seen any of that attacking flair Sheens was talkingSome people seem to be expecting them to throw the ball around like the 2005 team..
I don’t see Benjis, Scott Prince or Hodgsons in this backline ..:
The KOE commentry was similar . Just replace Latrell with Blake Taafe. He was ok but it was as though he was the only player out there. Really poorThese commentators are so far up south’s and Mitchell’s back side, it makes you sick
Yeah I know but it's week 11 surely after that plus two months of preseason we can do something with the ball. It's all we have mate. I agree with your point. You are spot on. It's just what can you do.
To be fair to the club as well we have Tupou, To'a, Bula, Kepaoa and Talau who are all starting their careers and some of them may turn into very handy players.
There must be a permanent rain cloud above the CoE and all we practise is wet weather footyI was rather proud of the boys today , they stuck to there task, against a side that scores for fun .
That said we are terrible in attack , I just don’t get it any a-grade coach can see what’s going wrong , so how the hell can sheens and co not see the problem
I honestly think they’ve broken it down right back to basics. As much as I don’t want to admit, he’s achieved more than what Madge tried to do on a consistent basis. (Helps with a much better forward pack and a very capable 1) The team looks very solid except for attacking in the 20. If we keep along this path we’ll see more expansive play late in the season with improvement next year.I was rather proud of the boys today , they stuck to there task, against a side that scores for fun .

Beats me either. Get to the 70th minute and realise hang on we can't do 4 hits ups and kick to the corner? What do we do?I was rather proud of the boys today , they stuck to there task, against a side that scores for fun .
