If we are fairdinkum about our team,the forwards have laid a great platform nearly every game by getting the team in the opposition zone,and all we do is NOT score points,this is a coaching problem and they have to convert opportunity which the forwards provide into points...Benji,Farah and Sheens need to put their boneheads together and come up with the gameplan and structure that the team can pressure the opposition and cross the try line,I mean they are the COACHING GURUS given to us to show us that we have changed and we are going to be a force to be reckoned with,to me looking at the performances of this year they have been great,BUT we are NO better than when Madge was here better f/a but still on the bottom of the ladder and not looking like a finals threat.just as per the last 10 years...

The only changes that should be made next game are

  • Naden for Talau
  • Blore for Kepaoa (Full game time in reserve grade has worked wonders for Blore and Kepaoa and Talau should be given the same opportunity, this change is more for rotation and giving Blore an opportunity)
  • Matamua for Offa
Our halves are really struggling to create, we need a proper ball playing middle forward and Matamua is the one that stands out atm. Also if he starts, we can shift Pole to the bench which could really help, we seem to dip in intensity when Klemmer & Stefano are off and that is where he stood out last year.

If Joffa is allowed to unload it could be a different story, as he created plenty of opportunities to do so again on the weekend, but it seems that tucking the ball away is the strategy.

Joffa can offload and I feel needs more minutes.

Also I'm thinking that pole will be a weapon when opponents are tired

Sheens never admits he is wrong, he will keep on making the same mistakes every week in the hope that it will eventually work.He should never have been given another coaching position especially with us and i don't care what his fan boys say.
 
I think Pole can provide more for the team off the bench. His work rate is too low for a starting 13 - off the bench he can focus on being an impact middle. I’d give matamua a chance. Blore is better on the edge than the middle and we’re not resting ice or bateman. Joffa needs a rocket!
The other guy I’d give a chance to is Tristan Reilly as 5/8 - there could well be a player in him and he just needs a chance with the big boys.
Agree we need to improve impact from our bench. Perhaps start Twal and Klem. Uto, pole, AJ, Joffa on the bench.

Totally agree with your changes Ilike Blore ,Naden back but teach him to stop the wild brain explosions and think give Matamua a chance

Pole was consistently one of our best players.
Naden to the LC.
We need impact bench, so Utoikamanu, Matamua, Kepaoa, Fainu/Ma'anaima.

Sheen's expected blore to be ready for 1st grade after a 20 minute trial v raiders not playing for a long period before that he has more upside than not only Joe O kid needs to move on to good for Reggie's
