I been saying weve ZERO depth .Our NSW cup side are a pitiful joke stone motherless last and a for and against that's almost twice as bad as the 2nd worst team .
We then lose about 10 of 17 from our Ideal Nrl team and fill all those vacancies with our cup side . Our cup side are not reserve grade they are 3rd grade or Ron Massey cup or whatever .
Didn't Benji realise early in the year he's got no suitable replacements
The definition of Depth is you have a pool of players covering most positions and when you lose players from your NRL side due to injury or suspensions not a huge impact
The Storm and Penrith have exactly that .
Penrith have their own feeder stream and the Storm scour a number of the QLD cup and NSWcup top teams and have depth ! If we had Douehi and Toupu and kept Talau and kept joffa and kept leiluah and Garner and had Bateman and Papalii and were winning so Stephano was still motivated and had Klemmer and Twal to go with Bula ,Api ,Staines and Olam and a fit Toa and Galvin and Sezer
There's 18 but ATM as at yesterday weve got 6 of that 18
You know when business hold meetings they need a Quorum to function
I've listed 18 NRL quality players that we have or recently used to have that would make a functional Nrl club but with only 6 available you can't fill the 10-12 gaps with DUDS !
Please don't blame Api or Bula or Galvin or Twal for these terrible performances as they are on a hiding to nothing in such a Dud team .
Ps 2 Weeks ago I would have listed Stephano with the 6 Quality but not now he obviously
wants out and is not putting in .
We need really major recruitment to fix this that means about 7 or 8 minimum
Stop filling the holes with Duds .Stop releasing players except our NSW cup regulars
Its a mammoth job but the huge Chasm between our Ideal Nrl side and a 3rd grade reserves should have been identified before the season began
