Especially when Hunt gets puffed just running around that bare cupboard and he deserved to be dropped, especially so if him supposedly sucking on vapes is true.

Don't agree, JC. If he'd gone down swinging, being subbed off needing oxygen, I'd feel for him. We all knew he was a benchie, but he was called up to start due to us being down on troops. We were relying on him to play above himself to help the team. He didn't try.

I found his effort the other day to be very trying.

We understand we have to play games at a bigger stadium for financial reasons, but as you are alluding to, it would make sense to pick and choose which ones we play there to try and give us a bit of a home ground advantage.

Richo wants to play games there for the $$$…. The people paying the $$$ get to pick the games they want…normally those that they think will attract the biggest gate … this is nothing new and applied when they played games at Accor and Allianz also

Hunt is a deadset bludger. It’s an obvious call, not a big one. As for Kit, good to see him get a chance, but we are so low on troops, he was bound to get a run sooner or later.

Hard to remember a bigger game for the club in recent memory, win this week going into a bye and we’re alive into the second half of the season. Throw in the Luai / Cleary grudge match and it’s an absolute blockbuster. Please one ask , just give us a 50/50 shake with the bloody whistle.

I thought Hunt was effective as a bench player to come on 15mins before half time to 15 mins after .He's not a starting prop doing 60-80 mins as his big frame limits his cover defence
Big calls giving Charlie Murray and Kit Lailiilii starts don't know anything about them so I trust Benji sees something there .If come next match they are dropped then Benjis judgement will be questioned
I like Sione 's effort lately but Samuela needs to pull his finger out and work harder

I applaud Benji on dropping Hunt he is meant to be 3rd best prop in rotation and dogged it last week. Give him a kick and fire him up will be good for him and the squad.

Sione deserves being promoted to starter he has been improving big time over the last 18mths.

Dumping Royce to NSW cup I consider to be big. I'll clarify that when I say "big", it is the tigers version of big.. we have been guilty over the years of not dropping out of form players.

Giving Kit a run is also a bit of a bit call considering ive seen him named to start off the bench in some of the KOE games.. I understand it's not like we have alot to pick from, but i consider it a big call.

Isn’t Kits issue his engine ? It’s not his talent . I can see him filling the Royce role and coming on late in the first half . Especially if we can get a roll on through Skelton and Turuva . Him taking that third hitup could do some real damage .

You’re right V but you’re not looking at it through financial eyes, bigger crowd, more corporates = more money.
Nothing about manipulating your games for a possible result. That doesn’t seem to enter it to it.

Interesting side.
Bench seems a little small but Dogs have been playing a small forward rotation.
Is there a chance that we see Samuela in the middle at some stage? With Bird playing on the edge. Has Kit played prop much?
I don’t mind Charlie Murray from what I have seen. Seems to have good footwork at the line and is busy in defence (although a bit small).
I thought Seyfarth looked more at home in the middle last week where he defended with a more confidence and thought he added something as a link man but still doesn’t bend the line in attack.
I expect Latu to come on and play on the halves at some stage with Mason either going to nine to relieve Api or bench.
