TEAM LIST Round 15 vs. Titans

Team List
No Fifita is good for us.
Talau instead of Naden is straight out stupid.
Not sure about that, Talau has been going ok in the last few games. Seems fully fit now and committed, I’m a bit confused over the Nably thing. Not sure if he’s going or not .
I like Naden but he’s a little erratic, think TS giving him a stint in Reggie’s to reintroduce to the game plan, and a little discipline.

I wonder if we're negotiating with renewing Tasi James and that's why he hasn't debuted yet.

It's a difficult one because he's tearing it up in NSW Cup but we also have Miller, Faagutu, Laulilli as middle forwards coming through.

Did you watch them the other night?
Rolled over pretty easily. Their defence is dreadful. We’ll outscore them.
Nah...
We have to turn up and we have to play hard to get the win.

The titans are a lot like us, great attack, woeful defense. When they turn up they can wreck havoc on a team.

Odd one, I remember watching a Storm vs Titans game and I reckon Bellamy just said "play fast footy" as it was an utter score fest.

Wait this wasn't the game I watched, but it happened again:

I am hyped to see Tallyn Da Silva play. All the talk here is that he's the best junior we've had since Tedesco. And we've already seen how good Bula is with less hype, so how good could he really be?!

Crazy that we say Bula is doing well for a young kid, yet Da Silva is a full three years younger than him and looks likely to debut either this week or next.

I reckon we might have to be a bit more patient with him than Bula considering his age, but if we manage his development correctly he's probably the most talented player in our junior reps system at the moment and could be a genuine star.

It's damn bloody frustrating watching Seyfarth get picked ahead of guys like Shawn Blore, Aitasi James & Justin Matamua. I can't fault the guy on his effort & heart because he plays with 100% of it but he is such a plodder & has no oomph about him. To me he'll always be a player who shines in cup but just doesn't have enough for first grade. I thought we'd be letting Joffa go to give some young guys with a future here a run but playing Seyfarth is just really mind baffling to me.
You have to fill out your squad and he offers good value at very reasonable $. His presence in our squad allows us to chase the bigger targets like Bateman, Klemmer etc. He had a great game against the Broncs last year and against the Raiders. He works hard and in the meantime can learn from Furner and co.

Yes. This has to be managed properly, I.e. keep fans and media in check, so that we don’t create another Luke Brooks.
If he debuts well, tell him behind closed doors and shut down any talk of him being the new Smith publicly. Likewise, if he struggles, stamp on any negative press.
Brooks has struggled his whole career with the weight of expectation, and this was created by over zealous fans trying to one up each other on forums, which lead to the media picking up the groundswell buzz and running with it as fact. By the time he hit first grade, there was already comparisons to a young Johns. Then he had a great game vs St George and the buzz turned into a frenzy. He was never the new Johns and could never live up to it, as proven over the proceeding 10 seasons.
