At some point we’ve gotta acknowledge the shit we’ve been in with key injuries and new ones pretty much every week.
It sucks because our attitude is so much better than other years, just need more first graders back.

Yeah it’s been an annoying year.
I honestly think we’re pushing for top 4 this year if we didn’t have any injuries.
A shame that’s not how its gone though, but very excited about next year lol

I dont want them replaced. Both have more talent than lost forwards in the game. The ceiling on both is phenomenal. But both just suck when it comes to horrible mistakes. Just bloody hold onto the freaking ball

A pro league team is not the top 17, it is the entire roster of up to 40 players. There is a serious issue at the Tigers that seemingly never gets addressed.

We can not be competitive when we have 4 or 5 genuine NRL players, 10 ok players and 25 part time, plays on the weekends, trains once a week with a stubby in his hand type quality players.

I was at the game

Agree both sides were down on troops before the game started

Tigers lost two during the game

Luai (2) and madden were both hit after passing - no penalty - madden to the head bin

API caught the markers not square/off side 3-4 times no penalty

The phins pushed the envelope on the off side/wrestle and were rarely penalised

The tigers weren’t great but neither were the phins but got the ‘run of the green’

I’m confident we have the most injuries of any team in the comp this year. And we’re still in contention for the 8 pretty decent year tbh.

Mate players need to be smarter, surely they know you want to get an attacker on the ground to slow the play the ball. Its 101 stuff that under 14s kids know.

So we had 5 of our best out and they had 5 of their best out also. The difference is that what they ran out with and what they had on the bench has more class. I get it that some here are saying they were proud of the effort but we still got pumped and I didn't expect that fulltime scoreline. Anyway onto next week and looking forward to the return of AD and Twally..

Benji needs to take the blame AGAIN for this one.

I don’t think so, if he had put Api at 7 we lose a lot of creativity from dummy half. Api can be ok at 7 but he’s not a game breaker. Lanyon would’ve struggled to play that long. Had Madden and Herbert stayed on I think we win, we were on top until that happened. Unfortunately the Campbelltown curse strikes again and this time it’s more than the loss we’ve lost 2 players for next week.

Dont tell me you are going to make an argument that mason can play 60 straight minutes in the halves? Becsuse he cant.

It was 20 before half time. Then he would of had a breather.

Then you do what you can in the 2nd half with lanyon, even if it meant pushing mason into hooker for 15 minutes.

Cannot agree. You don't weaken two positions to cover one, and especially not when said player is amongst, if not the best current player that position.

Yes but they can afford to play the percentages when they have speed and tackle bust ability all over the park.
Very hard for halves to win a game for their team when the opposition are much bigger, stronger, faster and better in all the edge and wide positions.
