Tonight showed the majority of our top 30 players are NOT NRL standard….we need to acknowledge that and move on those players who will not make it and those who need further development, such as Luke, mason etc…should not see FG until they learn and develop in the lower grades

They didn't play well, but it was obvious this was all about their preparation. No player knew their role. Players aren't given a chance to succeed in that situation.

Coaches like Jason Taylor and Madge almost felt too rigid in their structure, but they had one, you could see intent. What was our team trying to achieve tonight? Where were the targets? Who played what position? So players were poor, and I hate blaming coaches, but this result was coaching.

Well sign him up and put a jumper on him, maybe he’d be more use on the field than off. This type of coaching indicates a doer not a teacher and that’s not what you need !

Like I have said on here. He is a show pony still. Forgets that he is a coach and his job is to get the team playing as a team with structures and patterns in attack and defence.

I doubt that. We thought in 2022 , we could'nt be worse after finishing 16th with the spoon. But we did in 2023 coming 17th with the spoon. Maybe in 2027 we achieve another first, we come 18th with spoon.

I've been a supporter of Benji for most of this year but I've probably been supportive because I'm sick of changing coaches every year BUT now I'm seeing really poor judgement in team selections, Team positional changes ,team lacking any coordination in attack
He picks a team then sits on the sideline and plays musical chairs with the team during the game .
Benji as coach " try this " and if that doesn't work " try that "
Cant imagine any good coach wanting the job as coaching this merger which has always been like an "estranged " marriage totally run by a bunch of useless real bosses called the HBG

Has anyone ever at training since U7's come off a 2 step run up? There is something amiss here, I'm willing to bet that what is being practiced isn't ebing executed; but why?

That 2 step has been around for years. We play with no motivation. I can’t even remember the last player that used to rip in. Thought that was going to be Hunt,boy I got that wrong

Not ones who had better opportunities, Not even rookies with potential are willing to take the job (Ciraldo). Our best hope is an experienced coach who doesn’t really have much hope of getting another gig somewhere else. A Brad Arthur type. Or even Des if he gets the sack. Surely he is running out of chances.

Its why we have Benji...no one else would touch us with a barge pole...there was no one else interested...Flanno was mentioned by rothfield to Stapleton but it seems thenold balmain wests shit came to light with stapleton saying flanno would be here over my dead body.
Id hazard a guess its common knowledge any coach here is behond the 8 ball and on a hiding to nothing with next to.no financial support from the owners
