Taking off my black and gold glasses:

Parra defence was terrible. The misses on Boyd's run in the 1st half were appalling.

Klein was OK, it was the linesman who ruled on the Fergo no-try. I actually thought Parra got the rub of the green

Forget blockers for the FG, Parra had them pinned on their own 40 with 1 tackle left. Their poor defence cost them the game.

Moses was terrible. Just handing off unders all game like he didn't want to get his shirt dirty. Missed a couple of goals which would have won the game.

Fifita is head and shoulders the best young forward in the game.

No he’s not. Haas is just as good.

correct me if im wrong..but if broncs lose there next game, and we win both...that would take use and broncs to 26 points...and if we have a better f/a........

Agree with the above.
One thing that hasn’t been mentioned here is how having a decent Half. In the case of Moses v Sullivan means jack if you don’t have a team of forwards like the Broncos have..
The forwards always win the games!

@fair-dinkum If we win both games and Cronulla lose to Raiders it doesn't matter what the Broncos do...

Sure, and if Cronulla win against the Raiders we need Broncos to lose against the dogs and Tigers to win both weeks.

Mate, how many times do you need to be told. The Broncos FA is irrelevant

@Tigerlily We really only need a raiders win as that will keep them on 24 pts and if we win Sunday would be on 24 also... Winner the last week goes through.. Lets goooooo Raiders

@TheDaBoss the Broncos are on uneven numbers due to a draw somewhere along the line...

Yep, so with the Tigers needing this result you can put your house on Sharkies wining by 70 points.

No the Broncos would only be on 25 points.

About subtle little advantages going towards the Broncos.
Parra get penalised running around their player disadvantaging no one and not gaining an advantage in the first half.
The final David Fifita bust that set up the field goal. Boyd passes behind him to Fifita whom runs between Segeyaro and Milford at trickle speed which forces Parra to crab across but are unable to advance forward to force the tackle. As soon as he is past Segeyaro he puts the foot down and looks for a gap.
If this same referee is consistent at least in the same game that should have been penalty to Parramatta.
Ref Wins watch the replay!

Mate I can cop all you say. I agree - parra had enough opportunity to win and the game was won due to some individual brilliance. All good.
BUT
A dud call before half time led to a dud penalty giving broncos 2 undeserved points
Then a dud call robbed parra of a try - 4 points, maybe 6.
SO
Yet again, crucial calls (mistakes) went Brisbane’s way helping them incredibly get to a point where they win.

Now I could stomach this if it ever went the other way. It doesn’t. Ever. So why not? Why do we see year after year this bloody favoured team sneak into the eight on the back of 50/50 calls or worse. If it was law of averages surely they would fall at some stage. This never happens.
Why?
Because TV is not real. All reality shows are manufactured to maximise viewership. This practice happens in NRL but to a far lesser degree. TV broadcasters pay ridiculous money to broadcast the game. They want maximum viewership. Take Brisbane out of the 8 and a huge Queensland market turns their tv’s off. Broadcasters can not afford for this to happen and as a result - well see my above theory.
Agree or disagree, I don’t care. But if you can show me where I’m wrong and show me the instances where Broncos were knocked out of contention because of a dud call, I’ll be happy to admit I’m wrong.

Well wasn't that enjoyable watching "Slimy" take the game by the scruff of it's neck and game manage it for a memorable Eels win.

I am glad he was kicking - because if he wasn't, I don't think I would have known he was in the team. When the going gets tough the "Slimy" goes missing .....

AS USUAL....the little runt is a pretender.

Give me the Dally M half of 2018 any day.... Go Luke!!!!!

I’ve seen many comments articulating that Moses has gone ahead of Brooks. Not for mine. Brooks is made of tough stuff, Moses is a coward.
