I don’t want to be accused if being Hairist, BUT we need more Rangas in the team. Seyfarth hits the line as hard as he can and even without footwork he breaks the odd tackle. Rangas are genetically angry and annoying. Other teams use them why can’t we? The Bros might get inspired to back up if we had a couple more.

We need more Queenslanders too.

The first 8 rounds player's were competing for 80 minutes, last 8 rounds player's look like strangers, not interested, complete opposite, it's just all very sad, I take my hat off to the fans who pay to be yearly members,

Just a couple of points. I thought Mason provided some spark in the middle. That was his role in the trial but hasnt been used like that all season. Yet another example of Benji having no plan with a player. Thats his future IMO, and the more he does it the better he will get. His workrate was really good. Train him as lock and hooker in the off season and tell him the 14 role is his to take if he is good enough.

Secondly, I thought it was really poor decision to take Bunty off when he did. Bunty was going really well, and I would have tried to squeeze another 7 minutes out of him before bringing Pole back on for the final 20.

Seyfarth......honestly i have said this before, but I just cant work this guy out. He was really strong yesterday. Why cant he play like that every week? Remember he played a superb 80 minutes at lock against the Titans? Apparently he is a really intelligent footy head and the most likely to be a coach, so you would think he could work out why he doesnt consistently play strong. At his best he would be a really good 13 for us, but at his worst he is Ron Massey standard. I just cant get my head around him.


Terrel May is God awful, it would be worth sacking Benji just to upset this guy and hope he leaves. So soft.

Adam Doueihi has to go. They have to get this guy out of the club once and for all.

The Dragons have a strong pack of very good young forwards. Two excellent plays from Stewart ended the game for us. They are skillful team.

Sukkar tried to promote the ball. He combined with Tavana for one try and near the opposition line looked to unload to his right with space available but there was no support. He seems to pick his moments to look to unload which demonstrates maturity and that he is thinking about his game. There is a place in the 17 for him.

You are not going to get much support Paws on here for any positive comments but I for one am grateful for the attempts
No point supporting something when you can't see any hope and the pile on while justified, offers very few plausible solutions.

That number will decline until we have competent owners that care about the club and it's supporters.We have one of if not the biggest support bases in Sydney and by far the worst ownership in professional sport in the country.
The NRL pays the vast majority of the club's costs to participate each year (all the players salaries plus extra) and it is well past time that they threatened to NOT renew our licence and sell it to other interested parties as HBG continue to destroy our name by their inept and continuing ownership.

How do you dominate the stats with lack of effort and heart from most of the side?

There certainly moments where things should have been better but pretty good overall.

I saw it as the difference between the sides, and our lack of it cost us the match.

Not backing up Samuela late in the game with the line beckoning for starters. Them earlier having three players waiting for the bounce of the ball to choose which one of them scores, whilst ours, including a relatively fresh interchange player, who also watched on from afar, is another example.

Good post. As part of having the licence, the NRL should mandate that each franchise spend $Xm pa on the pathways and juniors so it is consistent across the league.
