Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall has named a 22-man squad for Friday night's Round 27 match against the Eels at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

There is just one change to the side that defeated the Sea Eagles in Round 25 with winger Solomon Alaimalo unavailable (HIA protocol).

Josh Feledy comes into the backline in the centres, with Junior Tupou shifting to the wing.

It will be Feledy’s third NRL appearance, and second this season, having not played in the top grade since the team’s Round 12 loss to the Cowboys in Townsville.

The 19-year-old has scored 14 tries in 20 appearances this season for Western Suburbs Magpies in the NSW Cup.

This will be just the second NRL game between Wests Tigers and Parramatta Eels at Campbelltown in the club’s 25-year history, and the match is a sell-out.

Sezer is still listed as out for the season with a shoulder injury - miraculous recovery! Possibly his last game in the NRL so I hope he pulls one out of the bag. Same can be said for Stef - last game for the club and with mates he has made here. I trust that is motivation enough for both of them to have great games. Spoonbowl should be enough motivation for everyone else.

This could be game that starts the revival
  • win the spoon bowl; or do you lose the spoon bowl by winning the game? Take it how you like!
  • win three on the trot for the first time in six years.
  • win a pressure game in the last round.

Alaimalo didn’t appear to get injured in our last game did he ?
Can we assume he’s been told he is not being retained and has packed his bags early ?

  • Wow
