What people overlook with comments like this is that is it isn’t as simple as club x shouldn’t have released player x cos look at him now. A lot of the time the player takes his game to a new level cos he’s in a new and better system. There’s no indication Morris and Flanagan would be playing like this if they were still at the Sharks. They happen to be in a pristine system and are benefitting. Even some of our guys would go to new levels at the Roosters. Aloiai would be an Origin player.

Titans should sack Mal, he has made bugger all improvements since he has been there

IMHO Mal is a Coaching Myth. My grandmother could have coached QLD to win those series. He has next to zero rep at club level.

Not allegedly, I saw it, Mal was playing for the raiders at the time, he had one of his broken arms, he had plaster on it.
A little boy about 7 years old came up to him with a pen and pad, asked for an autograph.
Mal looked down at the kid and said “F*** off”, the little kid nearly wet his pants and walked off crying.

I can’t help but laugh when we lose and there are predictions that we’ll finish wooden spooners. Some supporters are so one eyed that don’t realise how average some other teams are. For example, i’d back us to beat the Broncos if we played then next week. We’re going to be in contention for the 8 the whole season because the teams around us aren’t any better.

Roosters were only truly comfortable when Parra were playing with 12 blokes.

I thought the Eels/Roosters game could have easily swung the Eels way after they scored and converted. Somehow Keary hit back almost immediately - but if that didn't happen right then the Eels were looking good.
Hate to say it but the Panthers looked good on Friday night as well - makes me think that we will struggle to make the 8 as seven of the eight teams above us currently are much better than us. The only team I can see us possibly dislodging, provided we play well enough to win half our games at least, is the Rabbits. I reckon it will be a battle for 8th between us, the Rabbits and the Broncos.
