I am not sure wasn’t this similar to the one we scored against Dragons in 2011 finals when Benji appeared to drop the ball but it came off his boot to deflect as a kick and was awarded but I could be wrong

I remember that try well. I’m on tv in the background when they are celebrating in the in goal area. Or in-gold area as Blockers refers to it as.

To Billy Slaters credit he tried to say it was no try to the ref and to the Broncos.

The difference with Benji’s try and Slaters is that Benji had control before he tried to kick it Billy didn’t have control.
