Reasons we lost:
- Mitch Moses changes that Parra team (I hate him)
- the emotional toll of the week
- it took douhei and Luai 50 minutes to figure out how to play together.

I thought the refereeing was dubious at best. The shot on May, the first tackle of the game, should have been 10 in the bin or a straight send off, which changes the momentum.

I think we will bounce back next week. We showed heart.

Yeah. How many NRL captains got smashed in front of a media press conference last week too? I have no doubt it took its toll on both Luai and Api which possibly impacted their on field leadership. This team needs to be protected from fielding Q's on the Galvin circus from now and needs to be focussed on playing/training. I've calmed down after since the game finished and although I would've loved the win, I can kind of understand why we were average today. Still hate Moses, he's a F-wit.

I think we band aided over a lot of our problems from the Newcastle game. We were absolutely awful in that game but felt like we patted ourselves on the back because we got the W.

Not to have a whinge but how does such a serious offence get turned a complete blind eye to with all the technology?

Why did we give him the ball as first receiver the vast majority of the time when we had Luai as a just as good, if not better option on the other side ?
I was at the game and Luai’s body language often doesn’t look like he wants the ball in pressure situations, which is very concerning and will put a lot of pressure on whoever we have playing alongside him in the halves.
We have no idea how to have our edges isolating the opposing halves which teams such as the Panthers and Storm do regularly and because of this it is not getting Luai regularly on the front foot like he was used to when at the Panthers.

I genuinely think Luai respects benji too much and just plays to the coaches instructions. There was moments where Luai needed to take the game by the scruff of the neck and lead by example … exactly like Moses did for the squeals

Something is not working and it’s either Luai’s lack of confidence in the team he has around him, or it’s the coaching.
