I'll be cranky as all hell if Ava was to leave

He turns the corner defensively and motor /work ethic wise and then someone pinches him

Im fairly well sure he has signed with the sharks.

Really do you blame him….he wants to play football and enjoy the game,I don't think they offer that at the WTs...

The issue remains that, if the players have bought into the Taylor agenda, why are they so freakin appalling at implementing it?

To me, it's not the players, it's the agenda! Get rid of the agenda setter! He's rubbish.[/quote

It will be sad to see him go if true but if Ava, Galloway and Lawrence move on the changes sought by the Club and Taylor can be implemented. Lawrence is a favourite of mine but I understand he is being paid to play centre, not second row.

Firstly Paws,it doesn't matter where he plays,he still gets the same money…
Secondly, the move to backrow is proving a positive switch for Rowdy, his days in the centre position were numbered because of his lateral movement still being impaired by his terrible injury he had suffered..
Lawrence will be a game breaker in the second row with a bit more time there,he still is an asset to the team in my opinion...

Lawrence is already the best 2nd rower in the team, what does that say about the rest of them

+1\. And he is no where near the standard of other 2nd rowers in the rest of the comp. Nothing against the bloke, but again it circles around to having the right players; albeit no cash to do so (apparently) in these key positions.

I don't disagree with anything you have written. But the club is in change to rectify issues with the salary cap. I see similarities between our club and the Panthers losing Jennings, Lewis and the prop now at Souths (name eludes me). Some short term pain but do the Panthers really miss these players now?

I disagree - in my opinion he is better than Cordner and he is in SOO.

Doesdn't say much about the others.

I can assure you Wood,s manager has been having talks with Manly officials .Fulton has been in woods ear at SO camp.

There's no way that's accurate. Woodsy not long ago rejected manly to resign with us

I call massive bs too. A club also has to be willing to let a player go. No way management would let woodsie go.

Got word from a former Warrior that we could be seeing a few of them coming our way next year.
No guarantees but the info is ….

Charlie Gubb, David Bhana and Ken Maumalo.

NZ are looking to clear out some of their players and supposedly we're interested and in talks.
Not new thread worthy but worth keeping an eye on.

Thoughts?
Haven't seen much of any of ;em

Cmon Demps , if you are going to name these blokes you have to have them named in a 17 man side as well

Sits and waits for the we get them cause we are releasing Marty to the Warriors posts… :astonished:

Gubb has to come... 😛ray:

I think Gubb and Ken are pretty under-rated.
Would be pretty siked to get em…

Haven't really seen much of Bhana but makes sense if we're in need of 2nd rowers.

Just sharing some info I recieved.... not saying it's gospel but let's see what happens.

Agree, not legit until you list them in your 17 ala the Milkster.
