If parish is named coach god help us.

Folkes or Daniel Anderson is the go.

Im not a fan of sheens but to replace him with parish would be sheer incompetence
 
As much as I agree with you in that the players shouldn't have a say. I hope it's Anderson or Brown.

Wests Tigers have delayed making a call on coach Tim Sheens' expected departure from the NRL club.

An anticipated board meeting at the club's Concord headquarters failed to materialise on Monday night - with the end of season review triggered by the side's dismal 2012 showing set to continue in the coming days.

The delay is unlikely to save Sheens' position however, which appears to have become untenable following a backlash from players upset at the player cleanout being undertaken by the club.

It is believed the Tigers are working on a financial settlement with the four-time premiership-winning mentor, who has two years remaining on his contract believed to be worth $450,000 a season.

The cash-strapped joint venture would struggle to pay out the deal in full as well as find the funds to hire a replacement coach.

Manly assistant coach Matt Parish, who had a brief yet unsuccessful head coaching stint with English Super League club Salford last year, is the favourite to replace Sheens.

In my area no one really cares. Also reports of the club being "cash strapped" is totally false.
