Sam Mclntyre

He doesn't seem all that small to me. He's a lump and a half out there. Good ball skills and has added some excellent tackling to his game. He's worked hard and it shows. Good on the club for going out and scouting this lad.

Definitely exceeded my expectations. Tough and looks to work.

Has gone miles past Lawry and Chee Kam for that small, mobile forward spot IMO.

McIntyre is a big unit and will find space with the ball. He is one of those forwards who finds space. If I was Brooks or Reynolds or Grant I would be backing up.

I gave him a rap before he was picked based on his trial form and he has exceeded my expectations. He is a hard nut, just what we need

I like him. He hits hard and has good technique. Runs good lines and a quick play the ball.
Very surprised didn’t stand out in NSW cup must have worked very hard in the off-season and over the covid break. Credit to him.

I love the way he goes after the opposition. He has dog in him. Last week he targeted Taumalolo and cut him down on more than one occasion and tonight he went after Sue who was targeting Grant. He's definitely an eyes up player not a mindless zombie.

Had my doubts based on cc games. Now a believer. Hits like a truck. Good technique too.

Within a short time, I feel he could be 'The Enforcer' our club needs.
Get Packer out on the field and playing consistent tough footy, no one will want to play us as they will fear being smashed by our forwards.:face_palm: :muscle:

Thoroughly impressed with what I've seen so far. Runs hard and tackles hard. Can't see Lawrence or Seyfarth pinching his spot and he'll have Garner on his toes. Could develop into a very handy first grader.

Big test next week against the Pamfers.

Then the week after that and the weeks after that

really impressed with him after tonight. could turn into a Radley-type player with his ability to hit and stick in defence and a very good passing game. some kids don't do much until they get to grade, looks like Sam was just that. at full strength he has a mortgage on a bench spot without doubt.

The guy played in the backline so has some skill with his passing game and can run a good line. Now hey have him basically playing as a middle forward and he looks really good

The real pleasing thing for me is,he was rated as a CC player,WAS GIVEN THE CHANCE IN NRL and has delivered and grasp his opportunity with both hands...
Extremely well done Madge and I hope we have more like him in the stockpile....
