Plays hard and tough. He’ll probably get suspended for that head high on Averillo

Think Averillo should get suspended for having his head in the way of a good tackle.

He's come out of the blocks this season well, was really good down in Wollongong. Making decent metres off the bench in limited mins. Thought his hit on Averillo was fine too

The real pleasing thing for me is,he was rated as a CC player,WAS GIVEN THE CHANCE IN NRL and has delivered and grasp his opportunity with both hands...
Extremely well done Madge and I hope we have more like him in the stockpile....

Madge is never scared to debut the young fellas. Often works out for the better

You never know until they get a go. We all thought Seyfarth was going to be great. He turned out to be a plodder (though he's young and that could change).

I'm really happy because I thought we wasted that time with his development contract. So glad he is good.

Last game held his own, against the Bulldogs he picked it up a notch. Not easy for a forward to do that in their rookie year. Impressive run so far, can hold his own and should only get better. Liked the lines he runs, he hits it up with no fear and has a great workout in defence.

He drilled a few blokes with low hard hitting tackles around the midsection. He appears to have controlled aggression.

I watched his interview prior to debut. He seemed focused and keen. Not robotic and brainless.

I reckon last night's effort will do a lot for his confidence. Really looking forward to seeing how he handles things against Penrith this week.

Exciting to see a young Tiger go well.

The. second Talau try came after a good short ball from Brooks to McIntyre who got into space and was pulled down right in front of the Canterbury posts. A quick play the ball and from Grant to Brooks to Doueihi and his cut out pass to Talau. McIntyre ran for the gap anticipating the pass from Brooks. A smart play from a two game veteran.

Best nugget since Heighno

I'm hoping he is a lot better than that.

Double Grand Final winner, he’ll be awesome to beat that.

Good to have a impact forward coming off the bench. A player who hits hard and runs hard. I think he is off contract at the end of the season and was thinking of heading back to Newcastle. I know it’s only two games, but I would be getting him a new contract before there are half a dozen clubs offering him deals

He’s playing like he wants a contract. Give him a year extension if he keeps it up

So just to clear a few things up.
Sam is 108kgs
He is also a very solid line runner,
played second row for a few seasons at the knights
He was in the top 10 for run meters in the NYC,
Canterbury cup was up the pointy end as well
Madge moved him to lock in the pre season and said bulk up.
Did that.
Played his first game as lock, first round this year in cup and made team of the week.
So as many people say he needs to improve attack, he just needs to get the ball not be a decoy all game.![0_1599471366083_Screenshot_20200907-075556_Drive.jpg](Uploading 100%)

300 + games as well ...I'd kill for that durability
