Shannon Gallant is not only the best fullback in the State Cup, he is one of the top 10 in the NRL.
That's a big call for a guy that's played so few 1st grade games. You might rate him, but at least try to keep some perspective.
He makes $20,000 a year. Pensioners make more than that.

He has a family to feed.

Martin Tauber is his manager. Martin is THE BEST in the business.
If Tauber the 'best in the business', and this is the deal he got for Gallant to play on, I'm taking up player management.
<big>There is one particular man in the WT organisation, and its not Sheens or Simmons, that for years has talked down Gallants ability and gotten into blokes ears and rubbished him behind his back. This man is directly responsible for Shannon's lack of opportunities and progression in that team because of his initial influence.</bigThat bloke should have been sacked years ago because his inabilities in his role have made him a laughing stock in the NRL. Unbeknown to the Sheens, this same man several weeks ago told Gallant not to go to Wests Tigers training again as they were not interested in him. Gallant was told to return to WT training by Sheens.
I can't take a quote like this seriously. I could say the same thing- "There's a one armed man that killed my wife…". And besides, if what you say is true, this would mean that Tim Sheens' selection process is based on the advice of another man within the organisation. This doesn't ring true with the guy who wanted to be known as 'A Supercoach' while with the Raiders- I can't see Sheens having to get the OK on his team selections by board members & being ok with that. Or, if it's because this 'mystery man' has convinced Sheens that Gallant can't play, well that will fly in the face of your earlier comment "I know for a fact that Tim Sheens wants him for 2010", wouldn't it?
And SURELY- if YOU know for a fact that Gallant was told not to turn up to training, then Tim Sheens found out and told him to get back to training- Tim Sheens would:
a) know that there is a board member/ club member openly contradicting him- again, can't see Sheens accepting that.
b) know also that this had occured- completely flying in the face of your quote "Unbeknown to the Sheens, this same man several weeks ago told Gallant not to go to Wests Tigers training again as they were not interested in him. Gallant was told to return to WT training by Sheens". If Sheens knows that Gallant didn't show to training- did he not ask WHY he didn't show? Or did he just ring Shannon & say "I see you missed training today, would it be ok if you come back in the morning?" Doubt that!!

If you are going to make bold statements- make sure they don't contradict themselves halfway through your post.
