Im not saying its the wrong way to go or we shouldnt do it.
But to put all your eggs - or most of them - into these juniors could be risky, if theyre not up to it - theyre not up to it, no amount of correct and wise development will turn them into firstgraders…its why juniors are generally brought through sporadically now & then.
They are after all seemingly talking about half a dozen or so 20's palyers

I'm not sure they will start all 6 at once but will give them bench starts sporadically to help them get used to the speed and strength of the game for the forwards and bring the likes of Sironen ,Tedesco ,Koroibate and the likes starts to cover injuries .Its not as we don't have injury concerns every year

My question remains - if they are putting so much stock into these young guys for next year, why not blood them in first grade now? BMM is the only one getting any NRL time and experience. It's ridiculous to wait until next year to throw them in, hoping they will automatically turn into first graders - one or two may, but most probably won't.

IMO let them finish their season in the 20s and give them a full off season. We can't throw these guys to the wolves and risk their development. There is not much we as supporters can do except support, I know it's tempting to get the young guns in but it would be a mistake.

not while theres a chance to salvage something from this yr

The season isn't over yet. I'm sick of people saying we should just sacrifice this year and even next year for the sake of the future. Once you start thinking like that you are always only focused on the future instead of the present and you never get anywhere. We went well last year, and this year and next year should be strong years. We need to buy a good prop for next year. Maybe Blair will move back to prop? We can't just rely on 21 year olds as our props.

That's the problem, we won't have the depth to cover all the players we are losing now.
I'm not underestimating the likes of Groat, BMM, Woods etc.
but with all these losses and only one apparent signing, we will have to pull some players out of our arse

No one in State Cup seems to be standing out (except Moors but correct me if im wrong)
so Gibbs, Fifita, Payten etc will have to be replaced by the U20's.
So they are basically assured of the spot there.
