OFFICIAL Sheens gone

And the reasons you are giving otherwise haven’t happened yet and in my opinion are unlikely to happen…

Mate … if you really think they are going to have the season you predict,,, perhaps best you find another hobby next year
ahh here we go, didnt think you were one of those types.
Thats the card played by every person who loses an argument surrounding this club.
The point I am making is that letting Sheens go and bringing Benji in prematurely will be worse for us than letting Sheens see out his contract. If you dont agree with that, fine.

Why did I choose to follow this embarrassment of a club. My family weren’t into nrl. I could have chosen anyone. I am at the point where I would prefer they kicked us out of the comp.
LOL its a question I am posed with regularly by others.
Get on the Tillies bandwagon.
Although they arent very good in attack either....

What card is that?

Mate… I am hardly an optimist when it comes to the future of this club… but your level of
pessimism outlined above is ridiculous… multiple ACL injuries to young players , going back to Wakeham..Api “slowing down considerably “…. the likelihood of one of these happening let alone all three is low,,,

Did they let Sheens go or did he quit?

Don't blame Sheens for giving it in.
It's was pretty obvious that he was there to absorb the punishment that we were undoubtedly going to received this year, but I don't think even our harshest critics thought we would be this poor in terms of results.
There's probably a bit of a feeling that we have the opportunity to build some momentum to finish the year, and that now is as good a time as any to parachute Benji into the hot seat and give him and the team some confidence to end the year.
My only fear is that our reactive upper brass will just panic again if results don't come in 2 years and we will be back to square 1.

As soon as Fulton was on board and Ronald Macdonald was moved on you knew the ending was coming for Tim and with the other rumors about West Tigers looking for a assistant coach also did not sit well with Tim.

Yep this is how i see it as well, I reckon John Morris will come in as "assistant" for Benji they will give Benji 12-24 months to see if he has it otherwise Morris will be in.
Also add to the fact 3 player managers had concerns about the coaching system in place and not wanting their players at the club, whether you agree or not makes it extremely difficult to recruit in a very bad market.

I'd like to see how Benji's relationship evolves with Fulton now Sheens is not in his ear about the McDonnell saga. Hopefully that improves to a point in which they can work as a functioning team.

Also this has to spell the end for Pascoe i'd like to see him shown the door at seasons end, he's been an abomination.

If this is a decision based purely on results and performance. I think that would make it reactive and premature. If there are other things going on like personality clashes, unprofessionalism, leaking to media and issues with players resulting in players wanting out or making it difficult to recruit then I back it. Regardless, it is a terrible look for the club.

I was presenting a scenario you clown to show you that things can get worse. You are quite dense yeah?
You played the card that all sooks on here play regularly when you question their opinions.

Don't worry NRL 360 will be dedicating their entire show putting the boot into the Tigers, Hooper is lapping this up...Note how many times the phrase "train wreck is used".
Don't concern yourself with what NRL 360 may or may not say - their opinions are of no relevance, and they put the boot in even when the club is doing sensible things.

You are the one carrying on like a clown to present such a ridiculous scenario

I'm not sure the board had much to do with this. The original article stated that Sheens management had told the club he had enough. That paragraph wasn't in what was posted on here. The board really had no option but to dump him.
Who are the stakeholders mentioned?

Whatever man, we are done.
I no longer feel like engaging with someone so stuck up their own arse that they cant admit they may be wrong.

Always a pleasure… let’s touch base next season,.. it’s just opinions until then so neither of us “can be proven wrong” otherwise …

Who cares at this point
Yeah just so I am clear, we are considering moving on from the guy who

1) Advised us to sack Madge
2) Made a call that influenced our first wooden spoon
3) Coached us personally to a second consecutive wooden spoon
4) Failed to land an experienced NRL halfback despite having a million bucks to throw around all year
5) Failed to retain Luke Brooks who was a key component of their ongoing halves strategy

And some people are upset? Of course for "keeping up appearances" you'd want everything to go to plan, i.e. the 2022 plan, but there's a more valid argument that reality tells you the plan is not trending in the right direction and a change should be made.

Why is anyone upset by this? Sheens advised us to sack our coach, we were not travelling well 2022 but imploded after that decision was made, and we've made basically no improvement in the following 12 months. It's entirely reasonable that Sheens takes a bullet for this.

But also, according to the SMH update, Sheens' management also reached out to Tigers to discuss an early exit.

From a CEO and Board point of view, they cannot please the majority of fans no matter what they do.
No fan is happy with the team sitting last on the ladder for the second straight season, so obviously something had to change.
If we kept the same coaching structure many fans would not be happy, now they have decided to shake up the coaching structure many fans are still not happy.
