OFFICIAL Sheens gone

I would love to give him a fair chance, but would really have liked him to have 5/6 years coaching in a lower level to gain experience...The NRL is a big arena many have had the dream of playing or coaching at this level only to be shattered by what it takes to produce week in week out...
Benji will really feel the strain once he is in complete charge and HE HAS TO ANSWER for the poor performances and what his solution is...GOOD LUCK Benji, your gunna need it....
It will be interesting to see who he chooses as his assistants, I agree he will need as much help as he can get especially with those two ''gerbils'' at Wests Ashfield waiting with cutlery

In your computer experience in IT? Again. What is the meaning of life? Google - you there? Someone plug the cord back in. Bloody kids. I lost google. Send them kids to bed!!!! I can't think!!!!

No give Benji 2 years, one to get us off the bottom, two to make the top 8.
We have so many supporters who know more than Google. They know for certain it’s all Benji’s fault for this seasons results, know for certain there won’t be any improvement in the next couple of seasons etc.
Will be plenty eating humble pie when we come good.

I love the positivity. I'm typically positive. You could also call me delusional. I hope you are right.

I like this change. I think Sheens is too old and past it. I don't think he has done anything really wrong. I don't rate Hastings and I don't think we have the squad to compete.

Bateman and Klemmer are on shaky ground in relation to signings but they've both had plenty of good moments and I hope they have great seasons next year.

Api extended to end of 26 knowing Benji was going to be doing a lot of the coaching next year and beyond. He didn't go, sheeeet this ship is set to sail off the edge of the world. He signed up to the rebuild. Im hoping Benji has buy in from the playing group more than any other coach we've had, Tim always sounded a bit polarizing in press conferences and I bet with his age and time out there was a bit of a disconnect. Keen to see how it all goes...

Bateman won’t come good, trust me on that one.
Klemmer just needs to add a confident pass to his game, he has to stop being so one dimensional.

Jason Taylor has been appointed director of football.

He will be conducting a full review and at the end of 2024 he will make recommendations to the board around whether to keep Benji.

If necessary he will assist in identifying the best coaching candidates.

I'd never underestimate Benji. If the team fails it won't because of him alone that I can be sure of.
Yet the two who are at the pointy end of every poor decision made at the club are still making them and continue to face no accountability.
