No he shouldn't be sacked.
I think the poll should read… Has Potter proved himself as an NRL Coach? I'd say the jury is out. Its one thing to do ok in Super League. Cutting it in the NRL is a different story.
Its hard to say with all the injuries, but he's gotta work on motivating the lads and keeping them in the right frame of mind. He's made some really weird calls and I think a lot of our players are still a bit iffy about him. You need to trust that your coach is able to make the best calls and no-one at the club is 100% sure of that yet.
**I don't think he's a good man-manager \ motivator.**
If it all falls in a heap at the end of the season I will not rate him much.
What are you providing as evidence of this? unless you are there at training everyday and in the sheds on game day your claim carries very little weight.
And as for your last sentence, please. The guy has been hamstrung since the moment he got the job. Whatever doom happened this yr was never going to be a reflection on him, given the the mess Sheens left, not to mention the injury toll.
No one with half a football brain could honestly rest their entire perception of Potter on this season alone given the circumstances.
Wrong. Thats the sort of talk you see at Parramatta. They've had about 3 seasons now where everyone at the club is running round saying "next year, next year, next year". A lot of people on here were saying "next year" 12 months ago as well.
He's got plenty of talent and experience to work with. Not heaps… but def enough to make his mark. He could've fired the lads up a bit better during our losing streak. The atmosphere and body language coming from the side during those 7 weeks was all wrong... esp when he dropped Benji. The way we have approached this season and reacted to losses has been a bit too over the top from within the club, at least not until our plucky win against Penrith.
... but look dont get me wrong. I want him to do well. I remain unconvinced either way. **Its my opinion, and im entitled to it.**
