All dislikes aside, nobody can say the season would have panned out any differently had he not been dropped. We won 3 in a row initially, including a win against the defending premiers. We were probably flat as a result against the Titans which we still gave ourselves every chance to win and then there was the Panthers debacle, which in hindsight they were probably deflated from not only the Titans loss but also Tedesco's injury.

Good approach GNR, I agree with everything except those sitters of field goads in the Titans game - I think they were badly influenced by the Bulldogs (and Manly?) game 2 days earlier where they had about 6 goes each. Take the points from Dragons but repeating I have not seen them that feeble in 50 year of watching Sydney footie. Marshall , who they are now sacking, was the stand out that game, now the same is happening to his effective mate in WT. I employ tradesmen all the time here and give me a good old workhorse any day. The young ones don't know what work or commitment is.

It says a lot about where we've been taken as a club when so many people are vehemently against the biggest player this club has produced being allowed one last game at the home ground he treasures most (let's not kid ourselves).

If in all likelihood the game is a dead-rubber, what are the drawbacks?

The possible drawback is that if he still hasn't signed for another club, he could take it as a sign that he has forced his way back into firsts and should hang around for another season.

It's a disgrace. Both sides can't help but drag down interesting discussions into Taylor v Farah. Frankly, the potshots and name-calling are out of control.

Taylor who gets gassed after 10min then is useless...Kevvy's partner in crime Nofo who also can't tackle that's if he lays a hand and who couldn't catch a cold let alone a football..

He said opposite actually he thanked the club for having him. But he was under no contract so had no leverage. If the whole team tried as hard as he did against us they probably would have beaten us.

I'm with GNR - but it's a battle of words that won't be won one way or another as it's all opinion and we all have our own. If you want to talk about a cesspool of vile comments, well that started regarding Taylor long before any Farah negative comments started. The amount of crap JT has copped on here far outweighs anything Farah has received. That's probably largely due to the fact that the pro Taylor lot realise Farahs legacy.
But whilst the fans moan and complain, year in, year out about the changes needed both on the field and behind the scenes to become a force again, we never really want to accept the changes during the phasing in of them. And the same can be said of Farah himself. The coach and club believe he's part of the problem and he kicks stones. A professional gets on with the job of proving them wrong or aiding the process. His comments and attitude do neither.
Sometimes it's just best to look ahead and take a different direction. The club is trying to do that. Farah could as well.

That would be nice, but just when we thought it was all coming to an end everything is up in the air again and for now it looks like he'll be saying at the club for the foreseeable future. Maybe an announcement in the off season?
