Signing Rumours..

I would offer Brooks to the Dragons as of today they do not have a half for next season due to injury ..if they are desperate enough they will come up with the $$. I feel he will not be signed again just does not show enough for money wanted maybe at a hugely reduced salary.

I wouldn't say no to a player swap involving he and Tyson Frizzel

Pretty sure he and Moses played the pants of Cherry Evans and Dylan Walker at Leichardt last year, and did the same against Hunt and Milford - two of our best performances all year as a team.
I'm with philgood don't think the coach has brought the best out of Brooks. Whether he ever will - well who knows - and then its up to the decision makers as to who is expendable.

Does Darren the Souths fan still call? <big>He sounds like his head has been turned 180 degrees.</bigHe use to call in and give score updates from the Sheffield Shield.

I've heard him occasionally, not as much as he used too

Bahahahaha

I actually sat a few rows in front of him at a Pura Cup game between NSW & QLD, the day the Kat got a triple ton….couldnt mistake the voice
He looks like the dude on the left

Formerguest: I only caught a little of the show today, no Pascoe

Masteron, Please don't reopen wounds. The Anasta project was a disaster and one of our worst signings ever. Did little for the club, other players, cost us dearly and bagged the sh** out of the club and other players when he left. I had removed him from my memory until it was raised.

IMO Brooks is just as important as Moses to the team. But i dont think Jason Taylor can get the best out of him. This is not a JT bashing post either. Under Potter's coaching Brooks was confident, certain with his decision making and in alot better form during those 2 years.

He has been the opposite under Taylor's guidance and coaching. Its clear to see

I suspect Brooks felt more confident when he had Anasta at his side.

Hr certainly looked like it.

Is he the same bloke that used to ring Big Sports Breakfast, called himself The Nark? He doesn't sound like the full quid.

Haha the Nark I've heard him on the BSB… he now regularly calls Laws and annoys the sh*t out of Laws... professional talkback caller

Ha. I apologise! There are few people who dislike Anasta more than me, but I have little doubt that Brooks felt more confident with an experienced halves partner to fall back on.

He'd be far more confident if he had a 2nd rower that dinted the line in the red zone or a centre that could catch the defences attention occasionally

If Brooks is happy to demand $700 000 per season then surely he needs to do a bit of spade-work himself and earn his money. Sick of the excuses, he needs to step up just as Moses stepped up this season. Sure he would benefit from having a line busting 2nd rower and a strike centre in our side but gee whiz he needs to come out of his shell and dominate games more, from most reports that is what he and Moses felt most aggrieved about Farah being in the team, their lack of opportunities to assert their control within our attack. Well, that excuse is now void.

Nah the Nark rings up Lawsy as Norman.

Darren sounds like he's got a few roos loose in the top paddock, but you can't deny he loves his Bunnies and footy, one of the very few callers the 2SM team treat with respect. He's not an antagonistic jerk like some of the other callers who ring in half a dozen deep and get abusive.

He can demand 700 k all he likes , it ain't happening unless he steps up and leads the team for 24 rounds and 80 minutes every week

Is Pascoe on 2SM today?
Caught the tail end of Papworth mentioning the Tiges as I jumped into the car at about 3.20…missed most of what he said but it sounded like there might be a discussion later today?
