@Snake said:I would offer Brooks to the Dragons as of today they do not have a half for next season due to injury ..if they are desperate enough they will come up with the $$. I feel he will not be signed again just does not show enough for money wanted maybe at a hugely reduced salary.

I've heard him occasionally, not as much as he used too
@Masterton said:@philgood said:IMO Brooks is just as important as Moses to the team. But i dont think Jason Taylor can get the best out of him. This is not a JT bashing post either. Under Potter's coaching Brooks was confident, certain with his decision making and in alot better form during those 2 years.
He has been the opposite under Taylor's guidance and coaching. Its clear to see
I suspect Brooks felt more confident when he had Anasta at his side.
@Fade To Black said:Is he the same bloke that used to ring Big Sports Breakfast, called himself The Nark? He doesn't sound like the full quid.
@Twmba Tigerman said:Masteron, Please don't reopen wounds. The Anasta project was a disaster and one of our worst signings ever. Did little for the club, other players, cost us dearly and bagged the sh** out of the club and other players when he left. I had removed him from my memory until it was raised.

Ha. I apologise! There are few people who dislike Anasta more than me, but I have little doubt that Brooks felt more confident with an experienced halves partner to fall back on.

He'd be far more confident if he had a 2nd rower that dinted the line in the red zone or a centre that could catch the defences attention occasionally

If Brooks is happy to demand $700 000 per season then surely he needs to do a bit of spade-work himself and earn his money. Sick of the excuses, he needs to step up just as Moses stepped up this season. Sure he would benefit from having a line busting 2nd rower and a strike centre in our side but gee whiz he needs to come out of his shell and dominate games more, from most reports that is what he and Moses felt most aggrieved about Farah being in the team, their lack of opportunities to assert their control within our attack. Well, that excuse is now void.
