I will again suggest buying Kirisome Auva'a.

He would not care how much how much he is signed for.
He just needs a club to sign him so he can get out there and play footy.
Everyone has forgotten how good of a player this guy is. He was a major part to Souths 2014 premiership.

He would fit perfectly into the Tigers roster.

We could sign him for 50k and he wouldn't care. after 1 season back playing consistent footy his prices would go up and then other clubs would become interested.

Salary doesn't matter.
And we wouldn't want to spend too much on backs if we are going to sign Idris.
I would be keeping possibly 300k-400k to spend on backs then spend the rest of our salary cap on dynamic forwards.

While they're not attributing that decision to Robbie's signing, it seems to indicate they see a future at Souths with Robbie being there. Compare that to the vibe emanating from Concord on Robbie's (supposedly negative) influence on the future of our club. Where's the truth I wonder?

I love these posts that suggest that players are prepared to come Wests Tigers just for an opportunity and don't care how much they get paid. Everyone is out there to ply their trade and earn the most they can. To suggest he will come for 50K is laughable, considering the minimum contract is $80K anyway.

They might go to the Dogs or Broncos for unders, but certainly not Wests, unless they already have a relationship with out staff/management or they just want a fresh opportunity. Even if it is the latter, they are still in it to earn the most they can.

Hope you are right we badly need a hooker for 2017 Liddle looks like he will up for the job in the future but i wouldnt rush him 20 mins a game next year would be fine
