I agree. Sheens seems to rely on no Structure, fast footy and lots of passes.
Which was sad as the team we had, were:
Gritty strong forwards. Not speed demons but strong guys.
Inexperienced/weak back line.
Sheens strategy was totally mismatched to our team. I liked what Des Haslier did when he went to the Bulldogs, he adapted to the team. Sheens did fast footy.
Sheens needed a young talented team, aka Penrith 80s, Raiders 89 to 94 Wt 05.
No good with structure.
I suppose what we saw with 3 or 4 weeks when close to full strength was his potential.
Needed a fit firing Brooks and AD and Staines all year plus Bateman in the off season.
Got none.
Madge also needs above average teams with a competitive edge and he'll take them to the next level......like today and probably with the blues.
Cleary was what was needed with the cattle at our ranch..........but..
