Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

So i just popped over to the Cronulla forum page to check out the Wade Graham RUMOUR, And they seem pretty $hit scared of being stripped of points possibly all their 2019 points.
It was a glorious reading their pain. :righton:

Would love for it to happen.

No thanks to Gagai, I'd rather go after Waga Blake because Penrith would have to be under some cap pressure with all of these players on big money. Hopefully they can offload Blake to us to free up some space, the least Cleary can do is offload a decent centre to us after snaking us.

Don’t hold your breath

Blake re-signed in October for another 4 years

SJ signs 3 year deal with sharks (DT)

Interestiing to see how they use him. I'd be going:

1\. Moylan
6\. Johnson
7\. Townsend

Townsend to do the majority of the organising and Johnson to primarily be a runner with Moylan handling a lot of the ball playing from fullback. Moylan was at his most dangerous when he was coming up and ball playing from fullback at Penrith.

Fifita's a dope..Graham's a crock..Johnson's a Myth..Gagai love Unca…we don't need any of them..

Gagai is going nowhere,he always wanted to be with Inglis , seems this site is losing credibility bigtime which is unfortunate because there are some here who post good stuff , wotever happened to Sully and Stevo?

Yeah it looks good on paper but honestly they are very inconsistent. Where does that leave young Flanagan? Will he have to wait 2-3 more years now? I honestly think Cronulla are in trouble. Not sure theyl make the 8.

SJ will never be a Cronk, Thurston type premiership threat half.

Moving away from those losers, the warriors… Will be good for him. But I doubt it'll be good for the sharks.

I highly doubt Johnson would've just signed on for 3,years if there was any chance of that happening. No, as usual the NRL will just look the other way and give them a slight slap on the wrist like they did during the 'peptide scandal'.

Moylan best position is 1

Can't see Johnson and Townsend being a success

How many times in how many seasons do the Sharks need to change their 6/7 …....

Yep this forum is slipping, maybe a lot of new young posters. They tend to believe everything written/shown on social media.

However, like them, I am still optimistic of jagging one or two more signings. Got no idea who though.

I am lost … We as a club are making a profits and record members, Corporate $$$ etc... but the clubs with salary cap problems, Dis-functional Boards just keep signing Rep players like it is nothing.. Surely I am not the only one that is pissed off
Sharks are a good example - Salary cap problems and they must be decent for the NRL to take this long are still able to sign SJ and linked to Marty T, Johnson from Souths etc...
As a league fan that is losing interest in the game because the system is floored and NRL don't care. These TPA should be capped or scrapped as far as I am concerned because you have a few teams that run out each week with like 10+ rep players and other teams can only afford a few because they are doing the right thing... Roosters won the comp this year and most teams who win the comp generally lose players but not them.. They lost a few but replaced them with more quality players..
Sorry had to get this off my chest... Rant over.

Both the Jennings boys would be ok.

Michael Jennings could be used as a wrecking ball to demolish the old Balmain Leagues Club - about the only use I can see for him. He is so slow these days and has been bludging in the centres, should have been moved into the forwards years ago BUT he’s too soft now - Parra can keep him.

May be slower, but still would be 3x faster than every back we have, and comfortably the best centre we have.

Really? Hasn’t beaten a tackle for 3yrs. I would prefer most of our backline over him.

I remember Nofo outpacing him a year or so ago.

They were linked to Taupau and Alex Johnston because Holmes left and they had a pot of money. That pot of money has now been spent on Shaun Johnson and they don't need Alex Johnston and can't afford Taupau. If they were to actually sign Taupau as well you would have good reason to complain…

Yeah, you guys are right. Things were so much better when Tiger Torch used to regularly post on here.
