It only takes a phone call from the Club's Media Guru to update the NRL link. But the Weststigers haven't bothered to update the teamlist pages for years, so why start now? I mean A.D. is shown in KOE Cup (sans photo) and the NRL team.
 
Sam Fainu, Seyfarth, Tumeth & Sukkar.

Broerdelow later in the year perhaps? Bird can fill in there too.

It's not inspiring. Unless Sione Fainu is potentially looked at in the 2nd row? That changes a lot.

Realistically Kit, Matamua & Kobe if he was to sign, could all fill the role to a degree.

And of course...there's the former Harold Matts winning 2nd rower called Galvin..

I know people think that. But it's the wrong viewpoint.

You need 1 halfback and 1 player that can play halfback with maybe another at a pinch.

5/8 in the reserve grades can go to a center, fullback or whoever. really you should not care that much in lower grades.
Heck lower grades people should try different positions, even get experience outside their preferred position to understand what the other positions expect. i.e. a good center learns a bit by occasionally playing wing and understanding what being left high and dry on a 2 vs 1 overlap means.

We are so increbly lightweight on the second row. Samuela Fainu being the only player worth their salt.

Props, we need more. But were kinda ok for round 1.


Bateman is clearly meant to fit that gap in the second row, he never has really impressed. Hopefully we can get someone to take him off us.

Easts, Parra and Saints are cashed up ready to hunt. Whomever we pick, we need to be ready for a bidding war soon and people will be hunting our forwards and backs. ...

They're the ones we need.

I think our backups are untested but hopefully we won't have to lean on them too hard & can develope them in cup, ready for when they're needed.

I think Sukkar is a better option than Tumeth.

And after 2025 we will see a few more leave that we couldn't this year in the likes of Naden, Staines, klemmer and Tumeth, ideally allowing us to upgrade the squad even more.

I think they have the right guys in place now to significantly upgrade for 2026. As it stands there is too much youth in next seasons top 30. I would expect a much better quality squad the following season.

We will need replacements for Klemmer and some back up outside backs.

I'm looking forward to 2026 even more than next season 😂

If theres only 28 listed whats the deal with Sione are they ever going to resign him.Something doesnt smell right.

I feel it’s the exact opposite. He hasn’t been announced by another club and has probably had offers. I’m guessing he’s been promised a spot when they free one up but we have to leave the other spots open for players from other teams. They might not wait around if we don’t have a spot for them immediately.

Have to be looking to move Sione. One injury to either Seyfarth or Samuela is a worry. Particularly Samuela. In saying that I think Bird and Porter fill in before Tumeth and Sukkar
