4th string at the spooners...does that make him 68th string in the league?Bud Sullivan is still young with tons of upside. Just unlucky to find himself 4th string half.
He will be a good player somewhere soon.

Galvin = 65th or 17th string?4th string at the spooners...does that make him 68th string in the league?
Always liked AJ. Very few Souffs players I can say that about.Apparently Alex Johnston is testing the market and Souths won't stand in way if he wants out next season.
He's coming off injury and turning 30 next season. While he's definitely a better option than Staines, he'll probably want three years at above average coin.
To be fair we are listed as giving Haemasi one, Souths has given Maddax Fui one, so no real big deal.Did anyone see that manly have given Onitoni Large a train and trial contract .
It seems the family want him in first grade sooner than later .
Agreed, he has a good attitude as well. I think he will go far.Bud Sullivan is still young with tons of upside. Just unlucky to find himself 4th string half.

Did we lose him ? Maddax ?To be fair we are listed as giving Haemasi one, Souths has given Maddax Fui one, so no real big deal.
he literally ran straight in that videoCan't tell me Johannssen can't play on an edge man,
hopefully he kicks on I love seeing a late bloomer...

So if were talking defense, were talking a back line of:
Mason,
Skelton
Olam
Turuva
Staines.
^which I guarantee we won't see this lineup all year.
If were talking attack:
Turuva 18 tries
Bula 10 tries
Staines 9 tries
Olam 6 tries
SKelton, Latu and even AD have crossed for 2-3 tries each...
No matter what, I can't see a starting lineup without Olam, Turuva and Staines!
I think the latter is far more likely. As a backup halfback. They have lost Dean Hawkins & Lachie Ilias now. Bud could be a good contingency plan if Lewis Dodd gets injured or does not perform up to standard.
He' be 33 or 34 at this stage. 65th would have him as underneath all reserve graders at other clubs.Galvin = 65th or 17th string?
Would have to disagree on Mason over Bula in defence. Mason tackle % may be higher but Bula saves way more tries on our goal line.Putting some stats out there:

I to have been pretty harsh on Sayfart, but your correct if you take out the stupid penalties and errors there’s a good player in there. Although that could be said about most players, he seems to have passion and determination that a lot of players lack and can’t be taught. I think if he came through the grades in a team with a stronger roster he would’ve been making those errors in reggies, but on the flip side he now has plenty of NRL experience at a young age and if he can eliminate the penalties and errors then we may end up with a decent forward, and now we are building a decent forward pack, so I’m happy to keep him at a reasonable price.I personally love Seyfarth and am glad he’s getting (potentially) resigned. Though I’m not gonna lie my words during games by differ to that opinion. But when he is playing without the stupid mistakes he is no doubt quality and always has a rip in. One thing I’ll never fault Seyfarth for is a lack of effort cause he provides plenty. I think the fact that we have more forwards and quality players takes some of that load or wanting to impact games away from him so he can just focus on footy.
This year’s project player from QLD. We need one from NZ rugby or the place won’t feel the same.https://www.weststigers.com.au/news...opes-to-make-an-impression-during-pre-season/
Will certainly bring maturity, hunger & work ethic to the training paddock like Eiden Ackland.
I loved his tackle on Marty Kapow!!!Always liked AJ. Very few Souffs players I can say that about.
He still looks like a baby giraffe trying to walk for the first time, but he’s our baby giraffe.
May runs like a tank on steroids.May run like a giraffe but he's all dawg 😁😁😁
Gus not having much luck, players finally seeing through him.Ben Hunt to the Broncos for 2 years
