I think it in part had to do with his social media. More specifically, what he was doing in a certain video, in a hotel room, with another Rooster who is conveniently on the nose (no punt intended).

The best outcome for the tigers would be Galvin gets injured for the season first game

We make the top 4 without him

Halfway through the season galvin extends with us bc he sees we’re on the up.

That’s actually better for us than Galvin playing every game we make the top 4.

If that happens - we won’t be able to afford him with luai taking up so much

It's so silly it can send you down the wrong path hopefully the whole roosters experience has taught him a lesson and smartens up.

That’s kind of like hoping you’ll stay dry if you dive into the ocean. Players will do what they do. The key is, if you are going to do it, just make sure you aren’t caught doing anything else illegal at the same time. Because that’s the only time the NRL pretend to care about drug use and feel like they are obliged to act.
