Pretty sure after Hastings was sniffing around the knights and came back to the club showing his 800k offer then Sheens said good luck with your new club., but who really knows there was the Bateman situation, got rid of a gander but ended up with a goose we didn't win in the end.Thought Hastings was willing to play at lock, Sheens punted him because Bateman had an issue with him and wouldn't come across if he was still in our squad.
Now a barman at Petersham RSLHey Buttface, I'll tell you how good Mick Neil was. In 1989 Balmain paid out a Motza to bring highly fancied Great Britain five eighth, Shaun Edwards out to partner Gary Freeman in the halves. Shaun Edwards went on to enjoy a glittering career, winning the Man Of Steel award, representing Great Britain on 36 occasions including 14 appearances as captain. He also had an OBE bestowed upon him. However in the 1989 Grand Final Shaun Edwards was relegated to the reserves bench....because 'Ginger Megs' was preferred as five eighth.
yea, 6m for Dylan Brown is ... a very big offer. ...
I reckon not many on this forum would have said Jackson Hastings was a bad pickup from them. But he has underperformed and seemed to do better here (or at least, better then Brooks). .. Otherwise they have got a bunch of Halves that are turning half average.
Can you watch NRL on the Kayo standard? Not necessarily...From 4 March 2025, Kayo One will be renamed to Kayo Standard and Kayo Basic will be renamed to Kayo Premium. The price of Kayo Premium will increase from $35 to $40 per month.
Lodge is rubbish now. There's a reason why he doesn't stay anywhere very longIf no
and yet some on here , don’t want a bar of lodge or molo , both have mongrel in them , and I quess Richo and benji are in the same boat , we will never get out of the bottom untill we shake of this , oh we can’t have him or him
Lodge of now is more of a plodder than TwalLodge to front row and may to lock simple
Let’s see how year 2 goes. It’s a long season. With all this speculation around Brown being offered a million a year by the Knights. What does everyone think Galvin is worth, how much is too much for us to keep him. I'd offer 650k over 4 years with clauses if we make finals then every year after ratchets up to 750k. But even that has me in two minds, he's only in his 2nd year and done nothing. In a decent system he's prob a future origin player, but he's not there yet, even 650k is a lot on potential. On the other hand his potential is of a franchise player. I'm torn on it. If he was asking 800k and left I'd be gutted but imo atm he's not an 800k half. If Brown is being offered 1 mil a year what's too much to keep Galvin?
That's the really hard question. With all this speculation around Brown being offered a million a year by the Knights. Do u watch football or u just make up ur mind on what u think , lodge would be a massive upgrade on twalLodge of now is more of a plodder than Twal
Hastings was a terrible choice for Newcastle and was playing lock at WT as he was far from the best half.
Not surprised RHS - need more people like youRefuse to pay it I just put up with it.
If galvin goes well this year - he will get offers north of $1M a year. The salary cap and inflation have changed how things worth. We paid bud some stupid sum to play regs. Teams will see Galvin as a franchise player if he goes well this year. With all this speculation around Brown being offered a million a year by the Knights. Sam Walker I think was re-signed by Easts too for about 1m a season from memory.
Walker > Brown.
I see Galvin as around Brown's level at the moment playing wise. Probably a future origin player, not yet a origin star. ... Yet the bidding war is likely to go crazy, is he worth a 1m a season deal?
So guys how much is too much though? If galvin goes well this year - he will get offers north of $1M a year. The salary cap and inflation have changed how things worth. We paid bud some stupid sum to play regs. Teams will see Galvin as a franchise player if he goes well this year.
Galvin has potential to be better than Brown,I see Galvin as around Brown's level at the moment playing wise. Probably a future origin player, not yet a origin star. ... Yet the bidding war is likely to go crazy, is he worth a 1m a season deal?
That's the way to go - download, stick them on plex and stream. They are sucking us in. I had to pay $2.99 to have no ads on Prime. I should go back the days of ‘downloads’ 🤔

Nobody wants a heartless, one-dimension forward these days.Sometimes I think about Twal being contracted till the end of 2027 and think there’s no way he sees that out. Then I wonder how many clubs he would have willing to take the rest of his contract. Then I realise he’s here till the end of 27.
