Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

A bit half heartedly for my liking.
Are we getting into the body language thing again 😄.
I did notice what you saw though. Could just be that he has a quieter personality but who knows if there’s more to it or not.

What I did notice was him running in and being pretty excited post try and was pretty chummy with Jarome so maybe that’s the better gauge 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don't get why Seyfarth gets such a bad rap.

Guy can cross the line, guy does his part.

Look I fully expected our forward pack to collapse. They haven't. Look we have seen May go to a next level that will likely get him picked for Origin and all kudos too him.

Seyfarth and Pole have likewise stood up. Do I want to see better starters, Yea. But I am not going to rubbish two players who have both improved their game and helped us back to 9th.

100% I am onboard with the #babygiraffefanclub
I’ll take a stab on the Seyfarth one. The guy makes at least 3 errors every week. Penalty, 6 again ( always at a critical time) dropped ball. Now errors are going to happen, but 3 every week from the same player is piss poor and puts the team under unnecessary pressure. He’s experienced enough now to know better and be better. Imagine if 17 players made 3 errors each every week.
I’ll never doubt his effort, but he’s a clumsy ill disciplined player that should be bench at best.

And the teams were trying to catch have guys like Haumole, Kikau and Katoa.

Compare that to a guy who tries hard but comes up short. He’s a bench forward at best.

Anyone who thinks the galvin situation is over needs to have a look at his body language towards luai. Post-match is very timid in the team song and to the side. Very unusual. On the kayo broadcast, if you go to the post match galvin leaves as luai enters the room very swiftly, and is with da silva in the sheds straight away. It is quite worrying and will continue to drag on as the season unfolds. If you want evidence go to about the 2:12 hour mark on the kayo broadcast. It is also concerning that galvin is barely seen with the rest of the team in TMay's vlogs, and is only spotted with 1 or 2 guys mainly his jersey flegg mates like da silva and luke lauli'i. Part of me feels sorry for him being a young kid, but he's no doubt brought it on himself
Galvin needs to grow up and stick a large pin in his inflatable head!
He thinks he’s still the main guy as in before Luai arrived - dream on little boy. I still can’t forget him calling Luai “The Teacher’s Pet” because Benji talks to Luai in a senior level.
The opposition have worked Galvin out, fluency has gone out the door.

Galvin's a great player but big egos ruin clubs. Better to get a hard worker with less talent if they are going to deliver weekly and have desire in the jersey

There was a good body language expert back in the day called Allan Pease …anyone remember him? Used to be on TV a bit …Maybe we should try to get him to analyse Galvin’s body language after the game so we can get to the bottom of this?

The issue imo isn't so much either player, they're doing great this year Sayfarth in particular look to have reigned it in a bit, although last night I think he gave away 2 simple penalties, the squad has played 3 games in 13 days, all 3 extremely quick tempo so can understand Sayfarth and the rest of the squad not aiming up properly and being a bit off. The issue is purely about their rotation and how we use them in our squad, ideally we could have one on the pitch at a time no prob they're holding their own perfectly, it's about having them both out togeather, it makes our pack that bit lighter, if we can use both guys in a way that has one on and one off the field through a rolling rotation, they could be more effective. Just my 2 cents, though it's worthless.
I dont get the 3 games in 13 days argument. If you just go saturday to Saturday over a normal 2 weeks, it's 3 games in 15 days. Not a massive difference.

For a million+ he’s getting paid, I don’t think people are expecting enough. I wouldn’t pay more than 4-500k for him. Not consistent at all. I’d be surprised if the titans let him leave unless a team covers more than 700k
The player everyone would want...

Payne Haas. ... And yes before anyone says anything.
He ain't coming.

But if there was the slightest chance that we could take the Galvin money and find more to get him...100% I would do it.

Someone like Fifita cannot carry a team. He can perform a role, but he is the kind of player you hire when you have a pack like Souths 2023 or Penrith...

There’s always those players who are off to the side more when singing the team songs, same as there are those blokes who are always front and centre making all the noise. It’s not unusual, Galvin isn’t the only player who stands in the background all the time. You are reading too much into it.

Yeesh, short memories

Tyrone May was absolutely dreadful in the NRL and he's a terrible person too...

We don't need to sign him.
I think I declared him my most hated player in the NRL before he left.

Really wouldn't like him here, but if it helps with either or both of his brothers then I guess that's a hill I'm prepared to die on.
