I sometimes wonder if we can still resolve Galvin’s concerns, persuade him to change his mind and re-sign with us if we have a successful season, but the points you have raised among others strongly indicates he has made up his mind and his heart is not in playing for our club long term.
It’s sad and I’m sure our club could have done many things better to try and convince him to stay, but at the end of the day we give him his NRL opportunity before any other club would have, we have offered him a long term deal at a million dollars per season, before he has really earned that money, so like most of our fans, I’m satisfied we done all we could to keep him long term and if he doesn’t change his mind I think it would be in our best interests to release him for 2026 providing we get a player or players of value in return.
