What do people think is an acceptable offer to give us value for Pearce-Paul?

For mine, on the cheeky end - 500/550k.

Likely, if he lands, I'd say it's for no less than 650/700k. Unfortunately.

I can't see him or his management walking back too far from his current contract value, given that he is in (somewhat) demand and the cap will likely rise significantly over the course of his next contract.

Is KPP worth 700k? no. It's an over-inflated salary for an average to good 2nd rower. What is the cost of NOT signing him though?

We are one injury away from Sukkar or Porter starting on the edge. Sam Fainu looks gassed and it wouldn't surprise me if he broke down mid season. We are desperately short there. We can hold off and see what else happens but what if we get to the same point next year and no better than KPP has come on the market?

Give me KPP on 650-700k and I take it and run.

I'm not discounting someone like Jordan Riki becoming available. According to Buzz haha some players are already 'off' Madge and I don't feel Riki is being utilised like he has been in the past plus has that Kiwi connection to Benj. You never know!

KPP is definitely a "potential" salary player.

The SBW comparisons are a bit wild.
But there's definitely something to him.
He'd add some strike to our backrow which would be massive for us.

I think we haven't seen his best at Newcastle.
Lots to like about that deal.

He could be handy at the right price, but that ain’t 750.
His defence has been questioned but in the right environment he could be better.
What’s the right price for us to pay him do you reckon? I haven’t seem enough of him to call it, but he’s the next SBW, so they say, 🤷‍♂️
