Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

What is Milne actually like? I don't really know much about him at all. And please no highlight reels - I could probably post a highlight reel of me and you'd all want to sign me too lol! I just want an honest appraisal from someone who has seen him play regularly if there is such a person on here.

MMM just mentioned Milne has agreed to terms

How bloody good

Now everyone is getting excited about signing a reserve grader

T
have you seen him play?

No to be honest milky i havent seen much of him….i think i saw him when they played the storm a few weeks back...didnt do anything special....time will tell, just would love to see a marquee back come on board

i can also 100 per cent confirm rona has been talking to the tigers and if the force fold we are a massive chance but wont come cheap.
not related but i love how some people have said that packer is being paid massive overs but kasiano has reportedly agreed to the storm for 750 thou a year. i would rather packer than big sam any day

You have big expectations.

Speaking on Triple M Saturday NRL, Triple M and Fox Sports' James Hooper has said that the Tigers are looking to pick up a Roosters young gun. Listen to the full report below.

"The Roosters are playing later on today against the Brisbane Broncos," Hoops said.

"Young Connor Watson is signed there for next season.
"They're going to start young Mitch Cornish in the halves today with Mitchell Pearce out and Watson is on the bench.

"I know the Tigers are in pretty heavy trying to get Watson for next season, and so are Newcastle.

"I wouldn't be surprised if the Roosters let him go, based on the fact that they've got Tedesco and Mitchell Pearce in the halves as soon as he's fit again, so he's got pretty good depth.

"Though the week, Watson has let it be known that he feels that he's a starting player and he's disappointed that they went and signed Teddy because I think he thought he was probably a good chance of being the fullback next year.

"So I wouldn't be surprised if we see him move on."

I wish…but then what do we do with Tui? He has made it known he feels wasted on the wing.

Great signing we badly needed centres with some size and footwork. Our backline is beginning to look solid.

1\. Lolohea 2\. Nofa 3\. Milne 4\. Suli 5\. Fonua 6\. Reynolds 7\. Brooks.

We need some depth as the only backline players we have signed or rumoured are MWZ, Corey Thompson. I'm assuming we let Rankin, Hunt, littlejohn, Idris go.

Am I the only person unimpressed by what I've seen of Watson so far?

Has anyone really been talking to him?
His effort last week made John Littlejack look like an immortal.

Watson is not much more than a good touch football player. Put him in against a 13 player first grade side and he will quickly show his limitations as he did last week for the Roosters. Don't waste CAP money on him.

%100 he was exposed last week he shouldn't even be on our radar

Do we really need Watson as I can't see where he will play? A few more big bodies at FRF & 2RF + a Milne type centre will see our starting side sorted.
