My estimate was around $350k, can you have a look at the signings and re-signings below over the last year or so and let me know where I may have overcooked it? I could just snip a few $50k but welcome your input as you seem to be in the know

IMO you were right originally @Curly_Tiger to take 50k off a number of players. This 50k x5/6 = roughly what money it makes sense we have.

There's no way the likes of Walters are on 200k. Maybe 130k for example.

IMO the Roosters have a history of grabbing players who are over the hill and squeezing good value out of them, Morris for example.

I could actually see Roosters making it work.

IMO the Roosters have a history of grabbing players who are over the hill and squeezing good value out of them, Morris for example.

600k is slot. Once we have Grant signed them I don't see any reason to purchase and others until later. See what happens around State of Origin time

Speaking of which with Matteson gone we will have no players joining SOO unless Mbye gets on the bench which I doubt. Need to take advantage of it

Despite having very few origin players we always tend to struggle against the origin depleted teams. Seems like Madge is working very hard on fixing the team mentally, heard Chee Kam mention it in an interview

I loved the guy when he was here but I don't see this as a good opportunity for us. He comes across as being Latrell like and we will just get dragged through the mud for no benefit.

I also think he is a winger and we will be right for wingers.

We have no pace on the wings. There needs to be a huge recruitment drive this year for wingers with genuine pace.

We're building nicely I think Paws. Next year will allow us to target some decent strike wingers. Still may land one this year, who knows.

A pacey winger and top level forward completes the team. Main issue for next year is replacing Benji - either Doueihi goes to 5/8 and we sign a fullback, or we just sign another 5/8. Either way it’s a very important position to fill and if we don’t get it right it could cost us.

Looks like a good player but some of that defence He beat was abysmal (Especially on the goal line).

No player contract monies are public knowledge.

I appreciate the work you’ve put in but they’re your best guesses.

Sure are but best guesses with a logic and trying to use what info might be around, albeit taking that with a grain of salt. I never claim it's 100% right, in fact I'm sure it's not, but it's better than nothing

Thanks mate, mine was guess based on word that he was on less than $200k in 2019, and I assumed he may have got an increase for 2020, seems not based on what you say

Also is Rowdy on minimum?

Those two changes alone would turn $350k to $600k so seems to make sense

That's how this thing develops, with the input of others as long as it's not just an "I reckon"
