Just watching Curtis tear it up at Shark Park. If rumours are to be believed, his younger brother will be doing the same next year.

Maloney being given a going over by the Sea Eagles. Brooks' defence compared to Maloney is rolls Royce like.

Siro has been awesome today. He's been good all year actually.

I never understood letting him go. A big edge backrower. His problem was a lack of involvement but heaps of edge players can lose their way based on how the team is playing.

Thank jt for that

Thank God someone had some sense.

Yeah everyone's a fool who doesn't agree with you obviously. Salary caps are finite and we need forwards. Rona would be a great winger but not necessarily a great centre. He didn't set the world alight when he played centre for the Dogs.

If you think the signings for the back line are infinitely better than what tigers have this year you are deluded. Fonua and Thompson are pretty much signings from a league that isn't much better than ISP/QLD cup. Not even close enough to "top quality" signings. Rona and tupou are NEEDED otherwise there's not much changing in terms of finishing ability for 2018

Well written SG. Rona and Tupou with their pace, height and finishing are urgently needed in our backline. The fact we are even rumoured to be signing them is down to the foresight of the Board to bring Cleary on early.

Foresight of the board give me a break we are the worst run football club in the country. Cleary is good but giving credit to a board who have assembled a wooden spoon roster is a bit rich. Blind Freddy could see Cleary was the only option.

Give you a break, GIVE ME A BREAK!

Where were they going to get the coin to sign anyone but who we have, seeing the previous board stuffed up the whole economy of the Wests Tigers.
It was this board who have got us in a position to be able to buy the players we have now signed for 2018 and try and buy the players being mentioned now.

But no, don't let the truth get in the way of your agenda and the willingness to put the boot in though.

And we are paying manly as well for the privlidge, thanks JT we are using Lovett, Edwards and the like while we pay manly for Siro

Hard to believe he and JAC were languishing in ISP last year.

Why? that's where they should have been.

JAC deserved to be in ISP last year? Behind Rankin? Bwahahahaha you are a comedian

Yerr I saw that tonight, they said he is heading across the ANZAC bridge to the Tigers, it is believe he met with Cleary and Pascoe yesterday and has been told he can play fullback for the Tigers. Question .. isn't hat what they told Lolohea as well ??. Is something else happening in the background we know nothing about as yet .. ie: has Reynolds back flipped and not coming to us, therefore Lolohea will remain at 5/8 and watson to fullback ..?? What's going on here we seem to have a lot of players saying they are playing fullback next season (Lolohea, Gamble and Watson)

Their is no chance reynolds can or will backflip. Tui might find himself fighting for a centre spot or playing off the bench.

Maybe Watson might.

JAC has nothing to offer but speed … absolutely nothing.

Certainly had nothing to offer us. You're the comedian, I saw him the other week and Rankin looked like a superstar compared to my brother JAC.

"JAC has nothing to offer but speed…"
"Rankin looked like a superstar..."

Fair dinkum these have to be the comments of the decade. This cannot be a serious comment, the Vodka Cruisers must be going to your head.

Maybe the forum should have an award for the most delusional comment of the year, complete with a Sportsgirl gift card. You'd have it in the bag.

Sometimes speed is all you need…
Not sure if your comments are satirical or you're being serious.

If he's being satirical then I'll pay that but if that's a serious comment then he's off his rocker.

I think they have done a terrible job the brand of our club has been dragged through the mud. Cleary in my view is cleaning the mess up.

It would be in the running with your comment wondering if Cleary is under instructions by the board and sponsors to keep picking Lovett because they like him.

Speaking of the brand of the club.
Tigers v Knights this weekend, and look at what the Knights are wearing:

We are the only club in the comp with orange as a colour but we don't have an orange jersey (despite being called the Tigers :crazy). Now we have Newcastle playing in orange against us again….it's embarrassing. I'm no marketing genius but I'd think having a colour all to yourself would be pretty advantageous.

Rabbitohs aren't red or green, Eels aren't blue and gold, Roosters aren't red, blue and white etc. The mascot and team colours don't have to match.

All those clubs have jerseys that match their logo though.
What's the most prominent colour on our logo?

Hey I admitted that was just speculation, these comments are just bizarre.

And thanks for keeping tabs on all my posts, I feel kinda special.

Sick of seeing Newcastle in this jersey and it's especially ridiculous them promoting and wearing it against the Tigers this week - stick to your own damn colours!

From reading this, you'd think we had the colour trademarked lol.

Who cares? NRL teams each wear about 100 different jerseys per season at the moment.

True. In past times a team stayed true to their jersey and colours but nowadays a team's jersey is only seen as merchandise. You can see that especially with all the different types they trot out each year - heritage, indigenous, women in league, Marvel superheroes etc.

I wish they'd just keep it simple though

Awww it's just a way to make extra money and promote the game/club.
Young people are into it and just a bit of fun.
Nothing to get too excited about.
Watched the footy show on Sunday and stayed for the passing segment.
They had 4 young ball boys (6-7 year olds). Freddy asked them who they follow. Two almost apologetic confessed WT. when asked who their favourite player is one replied Tredeso.
Really really sad ….. this is where their decision to leave really hurts.
